“Great location and excellent services.”

The location is great, within walking distance to almost every thing you need. Take bus X95 from the airport (ticket is 5 Euro, one way) or the Metro for 8 Euro (will be 7 each for 2 persons bought together). The one week Travel pass is 14 Euro/person. There are many good resturants and take away in the hotel area. If you want to go to Delphi, take the Metro to Attiki ( line one), and from there, take bus 024 or 711 or others to Liossion bus station, in Winter there are buses at 7:30, and 10:30 AM, it takes 3 hours and cost 15.10 Euro each way.

“Good value for money small very central hotel”

Excellent value for money, small hotel right in the centre of Athens. No need for taxis and getting ripped off, everything is within walking distance, inc. Constitution sq, Monastiraki, Thission and the Acropolis site. 2 Metro lines, trams, local buses and all-night express to the Airport (5 Euros!) all within 5 mins walk from the hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms with shower, TV and air/con plus a nice proper breakfast in the morning (eggs, bacon, sausages, cereal, pastries, etc) inc. in the Expedia price. Definitely going back whenever in Athens.

“Sleep and visit”

If your visiting Athens like to real visit but not spending much time in your hotel, this is a great choice. The price is good and the loction is perfect! Is clean and confortable but petite. If looking for a real taste of Greece, a recomendation is not to include the breakfast (is good but not traditional) and insted, walk a few blocks and try a very nice feta pie and spinach pie in any cfeteria.

“Clean and well located hotel”

Location just north of Plaka is very convenient. Rooms are small as most economic hotel in Europe, but very well manteined and clean. Breakfast is the same everyday, but at least there is fruit and a great Greek yogurt.

“Small but got it all...”

Good location. Close to the Parthenon and the Bazaar. Ok neighborhood compared to other ones in Athens. The room was on the small side but very clean and comfortable. AC worked really well. Nice bathroom by European standard. A good Korean restaurant near by just in case you get sick of souvlaki.

“Location is the best part otherwise more serviceable than pleasant”

The Amazon is a good starting point for people that want a centralized location with easy access to transportation and sights. However, this hotel falls a bit short on the comfort wow factor if you want to relax and enjoy the hotel amenities. The rooms were functional. They had free wifi. The bathroom was so small and the shower stall seemed built for little children. The did have a nice breakfast but only had a limited amount so get there early if you want to enjoy the selection. The neighborhood a few good selections for restaurants and snacks. The area seemed very urban and doesn't really represent Greek character. Watch out for the elevators. They could fit maybe 2 people with four bags.

“Great location. Convenient to metro and historic sites.”

The hotel was reasonably prices. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. The best part was the location. It was just down the road from the metro station at Sygmata square and a short walk from the historic sites, There were many good shops and restaurants nearby, I would stay there again if I was visiting Athens,

Short walk to airport bus and underground rail. Right in city centre. Helpful staff. Basic breakfast but plenty of other options in close proximity.
