Hotel is close to tourist spots in the city and everything is within walking distance. Staff are very patient and accommodating to requests. One of the best hotel in Asuncion. Will definitely be booking in this hotel in the future.

Swimming pool is not well maintained. Water is not clean. Bath towels smells with stains. Toilet did not flush well. Dirty and not very safe neighborhood.

A horrible place. So old. Air conditioner was so loud it was impossible to keep on at night. Poor breakfast and restaurant. Swimming pool, the reason for my booking, was not in use with no notice to me at the front desk despite I asked its opening hours, and just horrible old place. No upgrade to room despite Hotels.com status and no promised 20% off food either

Good location, great staff, my #1 pick in ASU
Everyone at the hotel is great, Rodrigo is the Front Desk Manager is and very helpful. Hotel staff is great, food is not bad. I always use the restaurant as my meeting place in the back corner.

It is a historical hotel in downtown Asuncion, worth to visit. But the amenities have not been upgraded for a long time. Plus it is in / close to a poor neighborhood, better not stay for too many days.

It was probably very good decades ago.
It was simple. but the hotel is in a location that is no longer so good. At night it seems even dangerous to walk around. The hotel is old, has the basics, and frankly the windows face a steel structure that has not been clean for years. I would not return to that hotel unless my company insists on booking there.

Great service despite tired look
Still a very good standard hotel. Clean and comfortable. Must have been quite exceptional in its day (built in 1961) considering its location. Still modern-looking triangular building dominates area. A little 'frayed' around the edges on the inside. But standard of service in the hotel be it food or staff is still very recommendable. I would not hesitate to stop here again.

Good value off-season...
The hotel is in the best location in Asuncion there is. However it's old and tired but it's clean the breakfast buffet is fabulous. For PY it is 4.5 stars. Compared to 1st world hotel it is 3 stars at best.

This is a very nice hotel with very friendly staff a good casino that pays well good restaurant and breakfast included. The rooms are a little small but very comfortable and shower water is very hot.

Amazing location, nice hotel! I appreciated it a lot. Only thing: sometimes there were no employee speaking English in the hotel, so basic Spanish was necessary.

The hotel is quite good for value, close to city centre. My only complaint was each night the music from the nightclub was quite loud, also the room aurconditiong, whilst very effective was noisy. I enjoyed my stay.

Personally thought Hotel in good location, restaurants close by. Good for just relaxing around the spacious patio and pool overlooking the plaza or wandering streets and checking out some of the historical buildings. Area active and felt safe.

Fantastic hotel considering the options available
Was a very comfortable stay, service is on point. Only trouble I had was a load air con, and I wouldn't get my Landry done for what they charge. Otherwise central location, very quick room service, and brilliant staff. Breakfast options are plentysome, and also provide free use of computers for internet which I though was a good touch.
