Our third visit to Assisi, a most beautiful and serene town. Although crowded at times, it was never a bustle like Florence or Venice. Our room had a wonderful view across the valley, catching the sunset perfectly. Room was good size, comfortable bed, good bath and shower box. WiFi was a bit slow. But everywhere in Assisi was walkable from the hotel.
Beautiful hotel, excellent staff, amazing food, QUIET.
Sitting in the hot tub amidst the ruins of a Roman amphitheater was beyond all great travel experiences.
Excellent chef, with a respectful eye towards organic and local tradition. Restaurant is a bit expensive, but far superior to the tourist restaurants in the center. Beautiful breakfast buffet, homemade pastries, and bread like bread should be made.
The experience is worth every penny.

This is a great place to stay if visiting Asissi. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed and we appreciated the helpful staff who could not have done more to make our stay pleasant. The rooms are uncluttered and simple but very comfortable with excellent bathrooms, the whole building retains the atmosphere of the Franciscan monastery, which it was until it was converted into a hotel.
The staff was wonderful. The accommodations were top drawer. The breakfast was superb. And the desk manager helped us out of a tight spot...we are ever grateful. Love this hotel. And did I mention the fantastic location!!

I had a clean, comfortable room; small by American standards but normal by European ones. Trenitalia went on strike the day I was supposed to leave, so they found room for me to stay an extra night. The staff were all very wonderful and friendly! It was easy to get to Assisi itself since the bus was only a short (less than a minute) walk to the bus stop.

This is a modest hotel in a beautiful location just across the street from San Fancesco Church... a three star hotel. The rooms were a little outdated but were very clean and the hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. An excellent breakfast was included in the price of the hotel. The views from the hotel are breathtaking. Additionally, there is a bakery and restaurant attached to the hotel that serve excellent food. I would recommend taking a taxi (20 Euro) from the train station to the hotel as "old Assisi" is on a steep hillside. You can take a bus but be advised with will have to walk about a little over a mile from the bus depot to get to the hotel. I would stay at this hotel again.

Staff was very friendly, helpful and cheerful.
