“Convenient and Spacious”

We loved our summer stay at Tamarack Townhouses. We went with another couple and spent most of out time grilling on the deck and hanging out in one of the two large hot tubs. The kitchen was fully stocked, so all we needed was the food for the trip. We moved right in and enjoyed every minute. The nights were cool, so we enjoyed the gas fireplace in the living room and in the master bedroom. The 2 full baths were perfect for 4 adults. The shuttle picked up right outside the complex, so we didn't need our car at all.

“Not so great”

I was disappointed by this property. It is very outdated, and certainly not in my opinion worth the 5 star rating given by others. The picture of the pool must have been taken by some super photographer because we spent 15 minutes looking for the great pool pictured in the listing. It is actually a picture of a hot tub.. A cool hot tub, but not the pool that I thought it had. The condo was large and did have nice kitchen and washer and dryer which was a plus. Carpet was indoor/outdoor and just overall really badly decorated and kind of stinky. The tvs were very small and had limited channels, no maid service, no master bath.

“GREAT location !!”

The Tamarack is not a new property. I estimate it to be about 15 years old but it was nice & clean. Living area was very small as was the kitchen. Older electric stove with the "coil" burners. No granite countertops or stainless appliances. Took dryer at least an hour to dry each load of laundry. Upstairs was nice and large. Fireplace in master bedroom. If you are looking for high-end amenities this is not for you but the location was ideal!! Directly across the street from Base Village & you could literally be on a lift in about 3 minutes after leaving the condo. Almost ski in, ski out without the higher price. Nice pool & two hot tubs. Kitchen was modestly stocked. Service was very good & very attentive. Walking distance (about 5-7 minutes) from the Village shopping center with grocery store, drug store, post office, etc. Grocery store very pricey. Maybe try to find another one. Would I stay there again ... probably.

“Not ski in/out but great location overalll”

Not ski in/out but 100 meters walking from treehouse kids ! They are owners condo so some are better than others and the housekeeping is not very good !! But overall it's an easy recomendation !

“Good Time in Snowmass”

Two bedroom condo was spacious and well equipped. Outside gas grill was a plus. Grocery store was nearby, along with hiking trails and gondola to Snowmass Village. There was a little bit of noise from traffic and construction.

“Wonderful location”

Amazing location and surprisingly spacious for a ski condo/townhome. New Snowmass base village is practically across the street. Wonderfully private pool area and hot tubs. We stayed a few days in June but intend on coming back in the winter if the rates aren't too crazy.

I booked the Tamarack Townhomes through Expedia for a week long summer conference in Snowmass, CO. Found them easy enough, but the office was hard to find and ultimately was closed. Check-in is actually done through a nearby hotel, which was not clear at the time of booking. However, that was the only hiccup of the entire stay. Check-in was smooth and courteous once I found the right place. The townhome was nicely furnished with a king bed in the master and bunk beds in a second smaller bedroom. Full kitchen had everything I needed (except of course food, which you have to bring). If you don't want to cook, there are several decent restaurants within walking distance or you can drive/ride bus to nearby Aspen. The living room had a couch and loveseat, plus a gas fire place, which was nice on one chilly night. There is no air conditioning, so be forewarned if you book during hot summer days. There were flat screen TVs with satellite in every major room. Wireless internet had great reception throughout. Two hot tubs and a heated pool were only a 100 feet away. Maids came by daily for housekeeping, which was a nice surprise. Checkout was again very smooth and courteous, but did come at a relatively early mandatory time (9 A.M.). I would definitely stay here again.
