Stayed in a double room at Ibis for 3 nights.
The hotel offers a free breakfast every day which includes the likes of croissants, cereal, ham, cheese, bread and hot drinks. Our room was small, but it had everything it needed without feeling claustrophobic. The bed was fantastic and very comfortable, you will definitely have a good night sleep and be ready for a day in the lively city.
Don't be put off by the distance from the center of Paris to this hotel. As I said it's very easy to get around from Asnieres, as well as the fact that restaurants are generally a lot cheaper, but still offer a very high quality of food.
Trains to Asnieres seem to run all through the day and night, we managed to catch a train home at 1am without any problems - it's a great place to stay!
The hotel is located in a peaceful residential area near Gabriel Péri metro station (5 min.). There is no need to book hotel in town for double price when you have to take metro to get from one point to another anyway so why not staying her for half of it and having modern and comfortable rooms where you can relax at the end of your days. Staff speaks very good English and have nice manner. Breakfast is different to other countries. For EUR 7 don`t expect large choice, it really is just to start your day right. Few kinds of pastries, croissant, nice baguette, nice cheese, cappuccino and cereal. You can buy these in the Casino supermarket which is 5 min. far, but at the end you will pay the same so why not having comfortably made for you. The only thing I would change in the hotel policy is to change towels more often for guests staying longer. Although we knew about not getting them changed.
Pretty much got what I paid for. Located about 30 minutes (by train) from the city centre, the hotel is in a reasonably quiet area 300m from the station.
Liked the idea of a mini apartment (with cooker and fridge) as this meant we didn't always have to eat out. Bought breakfast from the nearby patisserie and dinner from the market (both about 50m from the hotel). Can't comment on the hotel's food as I didn't try it.
Sure, if I had the money I'd probably stay in a five star hotel closer to the centre, but as an affordable 'base camp' Residhomme was good enough. Would consider using again.
