“A Good Option in Asheville”

Overall we had a great experience at the Hotel Indigo in Asheville. Although not exactly in the center of things, it was a short commute to various local sights such as the Biltmore Estate or downtown shops/restaurants. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff was very responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful dinner in the hotel's dining area on the night we arrived. The space in front of the hotel is very tight and limited, and parking requires carded entry into an underground parking lot. There is no space on the street to park. Being in a downtown location makes space a premium, I'm sure, but it was tight for maneuvering.

“Almost perfect”

This is a great hotel, in many aspects better than a lot of 5-stars hotels I have been. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The room we had was huge and had an amazing view. The hotel bed was firmer than your standard hotel bed, which might be good or bad (depending on your preference). The only negative was the heater unit. It kicked in several times at night and was way too loud. It always woke me up. Overall, though, I can absolutely recommend this hotel!

“room with a view”

Absoltutely fantastic location and east to get too, Get the highest floor you can fantastic views. We had corner room on 7 th floor. Only one minor detail the sinks hot water took awhile to heat up but no problem with the shower. Staff very friendly. We were only about 10 minutes from Biltmore.

“Spar-like”

The Indigo is a beautifully appointed hotel. The rooms have a spar-like atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Area recommendations
Downtown is very trendy, Excellent restaurants. Also enjoyed Biltmore Village.

“Would go back in a heartbeat!”

Beautiful hotel within walking distance to everything you might want to do in downtown Asheville. We stayed here for a half marathon race and I couldn't think of a better room to come back to in order to rest my weary feet! Loved every minute of our stay. We will be back!

“Hotel Indigo in Asheville, NC”

We were not familar with the Hotel Indigo chain when we made reservations, but attracted to the photos on the website. Indigo has the modern feel of a boutique hotel, was freshly updated, immaculately clean, and very comfortable. The service was terrific, and the concierge was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in arranging dinner reservations. It was an easy walk to anywhere in downtown Asheville.

“A really great place to stay”

The hotel was interesting in its design, which made it an interesting place to stay visually. What made it exceptional was the service of the people. We found the restaurant very good. The wait staff were very proactive in taking care of our needs, and the food was excellent. I have already recommended this hotel to friends and we plan to visit the hotel Indigo again. Just go you will enjoy your stay!

Area recommendations
The downtown area was fun. a mix of art, brew pubs, and funky people. Asheville is an entertaining place to visit.
Shopping
Although the River Arts District was fun and interesting, I would suggest a trip to Black Mountain(about 20 miles East). Prices are much less that in the River Arts District (although there is less to look at).

“Best Location”

If you are visiting Asheville and plan to spend time in the downtown area this is a great location. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel looks like it is brand new even though it has been open for 2 years. The staff is very friendly and helpful with questions and suggestions.

“Pleasant experience”

Comfortable, well appointed hotel. Relatively pricey, but most hotels in Asheville are. Close proximity to the downtown area, but the hotel sits right at the interstate exit ramp, so be careful crossing the street. Parking is available, but exit onto the street from the lot is a bit difficult. The hotel staff members are very friendly and helpful, and the lobby restaurant has good food and a nice wine selection.
