“Can`t wait to go back”

This hotel is very nice. It is close to the mall and diners, and a nice movie place. The breakfast was very good and very large. The hotel staff is very helpful. I would recommend staying here if you visit.

Overall, not a bad place to stay at all. The room was a little small and overfurnished for the space but the buffet breakfast was great. By no means the Ritz-Carlton, but I would recommend Days Inn Asheville for anyone in the area that wanted to save a little money and get a great free breakfast included. Enjoy your stay.

“convenient location and cheap”

This is an older facility. The temperature of the room is difficult to control (window unit hear/air). The TV was very old with a poor picture and alarm clock didn't work. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. There was no room to sit for breakfast the second morning. I was staying for business and simply needed a place to sleep, so it served it's purpose. It was also a convenient location to restaurants, mall, downtown, etc.

“Good Deal in Asheville”

Went to Asheville in the midst of fall foliage and had a heck of a time finding a decent hotel at an affordable price for just one night. Took a chance on the Days Inn Asheville Mall and was pleasantly surprised. When we arrived, the room was available, and clean. A little paint and maybe new carpeting would help the room to look more attractive - it was a little on the shabby side. It had turned cold, so we had to use the heater in the room. Heat was fine, plenty of hot water for showers, etc. Only drawback, was a weird clunking noise when toilets were flushed in adjacent room. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and blankets. Location was close to town so the commute wasn't difficult. The best part of the stay was definitely the free warm buffet breakfast the next morning. DEEEELISH! Bagels, cereal, toast, grits, eggs, sausages, waffles, fruit, coffee, juice - you name it - it was on the buffet. We sat and planned our day and enjoyed the breakfast buffet immensely. Would book at this hotel again in the future.

“Great bargain hotel close to downtown, awesome breakfast”

I initially wanted to be in a hotel close to downtown, but booked last minute so nothing was available in my price range. This hotel was great for the price and location. It only took about 5 mins to get right downtown - very easy and convenient. The breakfast was as everyone else said one of the best/the best continental breakfasts around for a hotel like this. The Pumpkin pancakes were delicious. The conveniences in the room - flatscreen tv, fridge, microwave - were very nice. It was a little dated but as long as you aren't expecting a 5 star hotel you will be fine with the decor. My room was clean, no complaints there. I always read reviews to see if anyone reports seeing bugs and I'm happy to say I saw no bugs in my room which is great since the rooms lead straight outside. Ceilings were fairly low maybe around 7ft?, so if you are a very tall person that might be a problem for you - my husband is 6'2 and he was fine, but he could very easily touch the ceiling. Pool looked big and nice, but it was too cold for me to try it out.

“Great Location- Not Clean”

Hotel was grat in location to Asheville Mall and Restaurants. HOwever- the parking lot area closest to my room was roped off for repairs but the safety tape had be removed so my child almost walked into it. The first room had an UNMADE BED- with dirty towels and smelled as though someone stayed there and it had not been cleaned. I immediately called the front desk and they quickly set me up another room. The walkway leading to the room was dark-not well lit for night time and felt very uncomfortable. The 2nd room there was no carpet but apparently it was hardwood due to a leak b'c the new floor was puckled. The bathroom was small but the new renovation to the walls was very nice-granite. The DOOR DID NOT LOCK- it would close and the safety chain would stay in place but the deadbolt lock didn't completely slide across. THIS MADE ME FEEL VERY unsafe as well. After waiting in line for another guest to have his issue resolved. I left. It was late and I was too tired to move again. The breakfast was great the next morning BUt I woldn't stay here again.
