Doors were not working. Took 4 trips to the front desk and maintenance to get fixed. We were 1 or at least 8 ppl that were in the same situation. Offered breakfast….we already paid for breakfast through Expedia….no other compensation was offered
This was a gorgeous, sprawling resort with a great lobby bar, and comfortable places to hang out and read. It was a short drive from everywhere we wanted to go. My biggest complaint is that the vending machines didn’t accept credit cards!

We stayed for 2 days and 2 nights, they did not even come to pick up our trash and we had and infant with us. Tried calling reception for supply no one ever picked up! It felt like once you get room no one cares till you check out!

This is my worst experience in the hotel. I tried 4 times to get the correct room key work with one technician assistance. The technician walked with me to try 2 keys, only one is good. I never have it again.
The assigned room is very noisy. I can hear the water running from hoses and water flushing down the sewer lines around the neighbor rooms. The worst is from the nearby elevator.

I loved the area and the amenities during my stay! The room was nice but could be updated. Check in staff was amazing but housekeeping knocked four times before 10 am and said that checkout was at 10 am and that we needed to leave immediately which was very rude and misleading since checkout was really at 11 am

Windows in hallway and the balcony attached to the room, r great view.
The Buffet breakfast BEST SO FAR on all my years of traveling.

This hotel was a great stay. We were here for a long birthday weekend and it was in the perfect location just outside the city. Uber rides were cheap since it was close to the city. The hotel has great accommodations and the bar was beautiful.
Was impressed with what the Resort had to offer it's clients. The road leading to the Resort was poorly maintained and made you wonder "Where in the world am I going"? Once there, everything's just fine!
Great amenities but the room are lacking. They’re nice, but small bathrooms and the door to the deck was rusted and hard to open. Loudest hallway I’ve ever experienced.. not very quiet after 10pm either
When we arrived, there was an enormous amount of people all over the property. Very loud like a big party. It was 10:30 PM when we arrived. We checked in and walked to our room. Immediately the smell of cigarette smoke overpowered us. Then as we checked the room more it was dirty and we could hear all the noise from the rooms next door and in the hallway. We went back to the desk to ask for a different room. They said they had no other rooms and offered us room spray to cover the smell. We asked for a refund. He again offered room spray. We demanded a refund. Expedia was phenomenal in assisting with this part. Would absolutely NOT recommend this hotel!

The hotel is a GEM! Less than 2 miles from downtown Asheville. Huge lobby, great lobby bar. Pet friendly rooms with an outdoor patio so that we as a huge plus!
Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced. Room was large and clean (except the grout in the bathroom tile was dirty). You can tell it's an older hotel that's been refurbished but they've done a great job. The infused water and hot apple cider in the lobby was an added plus. Overall a lovely place to stay and I'd be happy to stay there again.
All staff was excellent. Breakfast was delicious. But we could not find the hotel even though we were using our GPS. The location was horrible! We had to go through Sam's parking lot to get to the hotel. No signs were directing us to the hotel. Once we got there it was nice but that night coming back after dark was almost impossible. Very convoluted directions even from GPS. We will never stay at that hotel again.
It was close to downtown and interstate.
Rooms need some updating. My room was too dark
even with lamps on.
Shuttle driver was great. Nice to have shuttle available.
Was hoping to use hot tub but it was in another building so
not convenient.
Desk staff weren't as outgoing or didn't see "happy" to
see us or greet us when we arrived or asked questions.
Maybe they need more training. I guess the first
impression at a hotel means a lot to me.
