“adequate”

The restaurant is only open for breakfast until 9. The cook obviously can't, the eggs Benedict was just plain gross.

“Vacation”

This hotel was really good. I had a problem with the tv in the original room they had me in and they came right away to try to fix it and when they couldn't they immedietely switched me to a new room without delay.

“Awesome! Even better than expected--HIGHLY recommend!”

My husband & I booked 3 nights at Clarion Inn in Fletcher, NC (not far from Asheville, home of the famous Biltmore Estate) for a long weekend stay the end of October. We chose the Clarion over all the others as they had the best reviews online. We expected a nice room, but it was EVEN BETTER than we expected! Very nicely decorated, roomy, VERY clean, and quiet (important to us). The hotel staff was also very polite, helpful, & accommodating. When we called the front desk to ask if they had plastic silverware (as we were eating take-out), they said no, but they had real silverware, & that someone would bring some up for us right away...wow! Not only was the price good for us, but the fact that the staff was so friendly & the room SO clean (and clean-smelling!)...yeah, it was really clean! We would HIGHLY recommend this hotel, & will most DEFINITELY stay at a Clarion Inn anywhere we can find one again! -- Doug & Cindy

Must see

We stayed in Fletcher, NC which is very near to the well-known Asheville, NC (huge art community, and home of the world-famous Biltmore Estate) and Cherokee, NC (Cherokee Indian Reservation--lots to see), as well as the world-famous Blue Ridge Parkway with its awesome views, especially the end of October. Staying at the Clarion Inn Airport was close enough to do lots of sight-seeing, but still stay "out of the way" for more quiet. There were also a lot of good eating places nearby. We truly enjoyed our stay.

“Tired Hotel”

I booked the room because it was rated as a 3-star hotel - and the price was right. The hotel was old and tired. The rooms need to be updated and freshened up.

“Not impressed”

Nothing special about this hotel. No views,, no elevator. It looked clean. We slept one night. Would only return as a last resort. It's not the worse place in the area but make your fall mountain reservations early and get a better place.

“Not a great experience”

Despite the fact that the hotel didn't appear to be *full* I was put in an accessible room. Now, I'm glad that they're available, but I find it annoying to have a fold-out seat in the shower! Besides the room selection, there was a miserable odor in my room and it just wasn't pristine. The towels were not neat, the coffee pot still had a little dried coffee in the bottom.... To be fair, I should have gone back up front and asked for a different room. But I was traveling for work and had to get to a meeting right away. I could have given an opportunity for them to "make it right" but should I really have to? Why would you offer a dirty room? The bed was very comfortable and there were handy outlets and such for work. Can't beat the location right by the highway and the airport...
