I had booked 4 rooms, for 7 pax. Out of which we only got 1 room as per the booking i.e TRADITIONAL ROOM WITH 2 Queen Beds. The rest 3 out of 4 rooms were not available during check-in and we were dumped into smaller rooms with 2 single beds. Inpite of having a prepaid booking, a month in advance, our rooms were not available. We were treated like walki-in clients and told take what we were getting. It was a very disappointing and terrible experience. After complaining and writing to the ROOMS DIVISION manager, we were told it was an upgrade. The staff at Four Points Sheraton is not at all serious and considerate. I am shocked that hotel of this high standard can take their clients for a ride and cheat you. It is so humiliating. I have travelled enough, to make out a difference between an upgrade and a downgrade of room. A smaller room with 2 single beds from the room originally booked is explained to me as an upgrade, this is totally not acceptable. I do not know how EXPEDIA will be able to help me resolve this matter, but I have surely learnt a lesson, never to prepay a booking so at least you have a choice to walk out or settle for what you are paying for.

good location in town center. The lobby is too small and crowded. Good breakfast. Rooms are average, but with good shower and TV. Nice garden and pool. The gym is substandard. The staff is helpful.

Good location and good service.
Short business trip. Excellent location. Good variety at breakfast. Good sized room. Two downsides - the gowns are so small even a child would find it difficult to fit in; and no local/Swahili food on the menu!! While in Tanzania we should have access to local food!

Excellent hotel, good service and kitchen. It’s an oasis in the crazy hustle of the outside city. Beautiful lush garden to relax and a great spotlessly cleaned gym. Friendly helpful stuff. Highly recommend it.

Terrible Restaurant
Amazing staff in a nice hotel (definitely overpriced) but the restaurant is awful and having a menu was pointless because they couldn’t provide many items from their menu. I was forced to leave the hotel to eat and the neighbourhood is pretty sketchy.

Actually the Hotel is incredibly neat considering it was supposed to be an old hotel (The Arusha Hotel). Its really beautiful and comfortable.

Great first stop before going on safaris
This was an excellent Hotel for usafrer our a long flight to Tanzania. The whole family was re-energized after a good nights sleep here before continuing our trip out to Serengeti.

Great stay at Arusha
Rooms were spotless clean. Great room service. Staff was outstanding. I had a really early morning flight and the staff went the extra mile to feed me breakfast even though they hadn’t open as yet
