“will NOT return”
Upon arrival we were told we were upgraded to a oceanview, but i showed her that we had already paid for oceanview, we were showed our room and we had a great view of a ROOF!! NOT the OCEAN! I called and went back to the desk and we switched our room.. The next day we were at the beach and there was soooo much noise from them "renovating" their patio, that it was impossible to relax.. This went on EVERY day we were there(7 days) ..After the 4th or 5th day i complained to the manager and he said he could change our HUT... The noise would've been heard wherever u were on there beach. The last thing u want to hear while u are trying to relax on the beach is jack hammering and tile cutting and banging ALL DAY LONG... HAd i known this i definately would've booked another hotel... I also told them it should've been noted on their webite that they were under construction.. They told me it was not " construction".... WHATEVER!!! I n the US when you rip up a patio and put a new one down it is CONSTRUCTION... The only good thing about our trip was Karen the bartender!! She was the best!!!
“Great beach getaway”
The westin is in a great location, has the best part of the Palm Beach right in front and the staff made our stay enjoyable. One negative are the carpets on every floor need imidiate replacement. The are real dirty, stained and just flat out not a 4* impression leaving or 2* for that matter. They need to update the elevators as they are real slow. Only 4 for the whole hotel causes headache. Breakfast prices are too inflated for the options provided. Hotel has a limited number of beach huts to signup for and they are a great benefit. All hotels on the strip offer these. Make sure to get up early and reserve. As long as you come back by noon it will be yours. Plenty open up around 1pm as people get lunch. Happy hour (4-6) prices are 50% off. Beach staff very helpful. The hotel needs a better system to reserve the huts thought as it takes an hour to get one during busy season. Not complicated it should take them 10 min to process everyone. Hotel manager Ester was helpful and upgraded our room to ocean view.
“Enjoyed my visit!!”
Enjoyed my visit to Aruba. The hotel was great from the moment we visited to the moment we left. Excellent service and good food at the restaurants!!
“Very nice hotel, service, and location”
The hotel was modern, and we received good service. The food was priced about the same as in the US.
“Nice Hotel and Beach”
This was our first stay at the Weston in Aruba. We normally stay at the low rise section of the island but wanted to try something different. The rooms are large and very clean. The beds are comfortable. The pool and beach area are nice. The beach is not crowded. You have the option to pay for a umbrella the night before or wait in line to get one free for the day. We had no problem getting a great space on the beach but don't mind getting up at 8am. The hotel is close to the shops and restaurants. They are expensive, we were surprised at the cost for food and drinks. Another thing to know is that it now rains in Aruba for part of every day. The parking lots and streets don't have storm drains so they often are covered with water. In the morning it rained early for few hours then a quick shower during the day.
“Excellent Service with a Terrific Location”
We went to the Westin Aruba to celebrate our anniversary. We had a terrific time. The staff was very helpful. The restaurants in Aruba were excellent. The location of the Westin is perfect. It was easy to walk the path along the beach to other hotels, site see or the beach. We would stay here again. The only thing we didn't like was the size of the beach. For some reason the size of their beach was rather small and it made the beach a little crowded. A secret is get a chair to the right or left will make your trip more enjoyable if you are looking for a little time alone and away from the crowded part. Enjoy!!!
“My house away from home!”
We love the Westin. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Will always stay at the Wasting.
“Great Hotel”
The staff are very helpful. They are always friendly and smiling. When you need something, they are quick to respond. The only thing we found bothersome is the slow elevators, which we tried to wait for because the stairwell smells bad, and I mean bad. Other than that, it is a wonderful hotel with a great location.
“Good Hotel”
Very glad to stay there , food very expensive highly recomend
“Enjoyed it”
The Westin is not the newest or largest hotel in this area. All of the staff was very personable. Food was good, but not the best on the island (try Windows). The Westin has a nice beach- very few shells- no trash- we never had a problem finding a place to put a chair, it also has some of the nicest "outdoor showers “too. The pool bar had good live music and interactive games.

Palm Beach, Aruba: The question on Palm Beach is this: lounge or live large? Theres a reason the major resorts and clubs are located near these calm waters. The beach is an ideal place to do absolutely nothing, with a cold drink in hand. Theres also swimming, golf, horseback riding, ATV rentals, and plenty of water sports.
