“Impressive vacation destination”
Overall, Renaissance hotel is one of the best resorts in Aruba
“Great Hotel”
Very good hotel, private beach, pool only for adults, excelente restaurant
“Best Vacation Ever!”
My husband and I went here for our honeymoon and honestly it was the best vacation ever. I have been to other all inclusive resorts and this one is definitely different but I really enjoyed it. The private island is beautiful and I actually liked the idea of riding the boat to the island instead of being right there on the beach because you got to get out on the water. I will say that the bathrooms on the adult part of the resort are outdated, but its not like they are unclean or gross. Water pressure in the shower was a little low for my standards but it didn't bother me too much. Everyone there was so incredibly nice and I loved having so many things to do around the resort instead of being confined to where you stay. If you like to drink then the all inclusive is worth it and I'm really glad we did it for this vacation, but we may not do it when we go back next time because I hear there are a lot of really delicious restaurants outside of the resort (a couple people recommended Madame..... something.... I can't remeber) and there is also American food places like subway and taco bell if you want to grab something a little cheaper. Also there is a supermarket pretty close to the adult side where you can get snacks or other food as well. If you want a little adventure then I definitely have to recommend the Kini Kini ATV tours. It was a little treaturous at times but I never felt endangered. It was just an awesome experience and you got to see so much... DEFINITELY worth it!
“Would recommend, nice hotel”
Nice hotel, the resturant manager was so very friendly, all workers friendly, except a few of the front desk workers at both the Marina Hotel & the Suites desk. They seemed "put out" with most questions that were asked. Very nice time at the hotel overall. Boat drivers to the private island are the best! Great attitudes and so very friendly.
“Rennaisance - Aruba”
Great Hotel, Good location, Private island beach is very nice
“We will be back”
Renaissance was again very enjoyable - it was our 6th visit. The private island is the key feature. The hotel rooms are smaller and the bathrooms in particular show wear. Staff is friendly and very helpful.
“There is no place like home”
We have been staying here for 11 years, simply the best.
“Ren was good but not great.”
Pools are nice, but beaches are just ok. Restaurants were fine but not great. We did the all inclusive package which was worth the money but I wouldn't recommend getting locked into their restaurants for more than 2 dinners. Plenty of good lunch and breakfast food though. Room keys were a nightmare. Keys kept getting de-programmed and door lock was flakey. 10 problems in 5 days. only got excuses. Disappointing.
“Nice Hotel”
Just returned from the Renaissance. First time there. Nice variety of pools and beaches. Loved the adult pool! Did the all inclusive and disappointed with selection of restaurants and variety of food. Otherwise very clean hotel and grounds surrounding the area.
“Good downtown hotel”
This is a great downtown hotel in Oranjesad, Aruba. Next time would go to the more tourist areas where the larger resorts are. If staying here make sure you take the all inclusive option. The meals and drinks are very expensive!!
