“DIVI RESORT AMAZING !!”
WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH THE HOTEL. !!! WE ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND IT !!!. I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK !!
“Been to Aruba 20 times first time at the Phoenix, It was Very Nice”
We Love Aruba. Have Been there 20 times. first time we took all of our Children. They will be future 20 timers.
“satisfied”
Not happy that Phoenix shares their palapas with guests from other resorts. Noticed yellow and white stirped towels using the palapas and also moving on on Phoenix guests palapas. ????? Why not just use a palapa and enjoy it and then come back later when you want ot use one again? Why are guests allowed to "save" one from early morning to late afternoon when all they use it for is just a couple hours? Not fair!! It's not a vacation when you have to get up at 0600 and "save" a palapa with a plastic bag or a flip flop!! There is NO security taking notice of these "saving procedures" Did not notice any Phoenix employees walking around the beach area at all. Nice beach!!
“Great amenities”
Phoenix places one right at the beach front, where there is plenty of room--not crowded on the beach as the high rise areas; swim up bar at pool; two nice restraurants; friendly staff; rooms have sitting area, king sized beds, kitchen and large baths with juccuzi tubs and showers. Very safe enviroment. Located toward the low rise area so street is not busy. Minutes to high rise district for shopping and restraurants. Short drive to Oranjestad for groceries and shopping.
“A Good Choice When traveling With Small Children”
I was traveling with my two year old so a fridge & microwave was a must. I chose Divi Phoenix & I have no regrets. The room was large so my son could run around a lot. We always found a hut at the beach. The resort is towards the end of the strip & it was really hot when we were there, so we took the bus most of the time instead of walking & that workied out fine. The only thing I did not like was that there was a smell when we first entered the room. I tried airing the room out a little, but could never fully get rid of it. After a while I got used to it. Other than that, this was a great place to stay!
“Awesome hotel and location!”
Me and my wife spent our 10 night honeymoon at the Divi Phoenix resort and were very impressed. The hotel rooms had everything we needed for our week long stay including a full kitchen and a washer/dryer. We purchased groceries and alcohol at the beginning of our trip, and we made our breakfast and lunch in the room everyday. We slept in until 10 everyday and had no problem getting a hut on the beach. The service staff, including the front desk, the concierge and house keepers were excellent! The cost of rooms were well worth the money considering the money we saved on meals and drinks. The location was very good. Divi Phoenix was much less crowded on the beach than the other high rise hotels, but also within walking distance from the palm beach mall area. The pools also were very nice and lots of room to accomodate. Would recommend the hotel and aruba to anyone!
“Great Resort”
The resort was great overall, a little more quiet than others i've stayed at mostly because it's the first resort on that end of the strip so not alot of people walking by on the beach. It's kinda a long walk to get to all the shops which i disliked. The rooms are amazing the staff is great. Really the only think i can say i disliked was the long walk to shops and that there was no ATM on the property. Everything else about the resort is wonderful. Oh except the elevator which i thankfully didn't need to use since i was on the first floor
“Will go back again. Nice hotel and good position.”
Nice, clean and spacious hotel, part of the high rise hotel area (at the start of it). Nice beach, not crowded like at other hotels. Restaurant food variety could be better, but you can walk to many nice restaurants. Friendly staff.
“Perfect Balance”
Park yourself in the middle of Palm Beach and get obnoxious tourists, screaming kids, and bars that measure their worth by the average proof of their liquor. Get too far out in low rise land, though, and you'll have a cab ride if you want to do much more than take a nice, quiet walk on the beach. So what do you do if you're not yet ready to cruise the town in your Rascal, but hate tourist traps? If you're going to Aruba, the Divi Phoenix is the perfect answer. The big resorts are a (gorgeous) 10-15 minute walk away, but the Phoenix is on a quieter stretch of beach. Go to the grocery store and stock the full kitchen in your room. Buy some supplies for pina coladas - you've got a blender. Kick back and sneak pieces of fruit to the iguanas by the pools. Giggle at the suckers who paid a lot more to live like sardines a mile down the beach. The staff (like everyone in Aruba I've met) are incredibly helpful and kind. Since hurricanes rarely hit the island, I'd recommend going in low season - August through October-ish. Beat the crowds, enjoy the reasonable prices, and lose the stress.
“Aruba vacation was amazing!”
Our stay in Divi Phoenix was very pleasant. Very clean and staff was very helpful and attentive. Loved the variety of entertainment. Was surprised at how big our studio room was. Their restaurants had delicious food with great service. The only downside we saw was no free shuttle bus to and from airport. Overall we loved our stay and can't wait to visit again. Thank you Divi!
