“Very good experience at Marriott.”
My wife and I vacation in Aruba annually since 2005. This was our first stay at Marriott, however and the experience was very good. The hotel is in excellent condition. Even so there is an on-going construction of Ritz Carlton next to the hotel we were not destructed by it at all (our room faced the construction site). The beach is good to. The only complain is that there were a lot of little flies around palapas close to the towel hut. Other than that everything else was perfect.
“IT WAS A BIT PRICEY”
Had a great time in Aruba, but things around the hotels are super expensive!! I would go back, but I dont know if I would stay at the Marriot agian.
“Aruba's Paradise”
The hotel is amazing. Very Clean. The staff is amazingly friendly. Our room had a few issues, but we contacted the manager of housekeeping and it was immediately taken care of, as well as we received money credited towards our room charges and the treated us to lunch and drinks in the beach our last two days there. The staff at the Marriott try to do everything to make you happy. I've been going to Aruba for 20 years & would reccommend the Marriott 100 %.
“Great Hotel in Palm Beach”
The hotel was extremely clean and even though it was big, the employees at the Marriott never failed to make sure you were taken care of. They were friendly and warm and definitely made the place what it is. After seeing me and my boyfriend the first day, they began to greet us as if they've known us for years for the following week that we stayed in the hotel. The food was ok, simply fish was the best restaurant on premise, however, that is only open for dinner. Rooms were huge and clean with a balcony. Bathroom was expansive as well with double sinks which was a definite plus. Elevators were a breeze to take because they came fast. Swim up bar was nice but lying under a palapa on the beach was better. I took many comforting naps under there! didnt have a problem getting a palapa the day of (i visited from oct 15-22) even at 12pm. the beach has little vendors set up with water sports and activities to do which was a great alternative to lying on the beach all day. they also have these foam mattresses to rent which you can float on in the water which equaled if not surpassed lying under a palapa!
“Stress- free...”
Felt like "Royalty!!" Everyone on the staff was gracious and helpful....Never passed a clerk; a maid; a waiter; ANYONE....who didn't flash me a smile and offer to be of assistance. Just loved it!!! Location at the beach is exquisite!!!! Room was large and comfortable...housekeeping wonderful!!! 24 Hour Cafe in the lobby was terrific for quick breakfasts or a late night snack....Would definitely return!!!!
“Would stay here again!”
I enjoyed my stay at the Marriot Resort and Stellaris Casino. I am very picky about hotel rooms and their cleanliness, but I didn't have an issue at the Marriot. The room was clean and I felt comfortable staying there. The rooms were also very spacious. The only problem I had was the coffee in the room. It was awful! We had to buy coffee every morning. That's the last thing I wanted to buy, when I was already spending so much money eating out. Bring your own coffee and you'll fine. Overall, good experience and I would stay here again.
“Can't wait to go back!”
We loved it and would go back!
“Great Hotel”
The hotel staff were quite friendly, but the housekeeping staff barely spoke english. As a frequent visitor to Aruba I found that happening more and more as the island grows and help is imported from other countries. But for themost part Ifound this to be a very pleasant stay and the rooms nicely redone.
“Excellent Vacation....will be back”
Hotel was A plus 8th floor Tradewinds Club made the vaca effortless. Great food, excellent service, top shelf alcohol and premium palapas (palm tree umbrellas) with floats. Only downside was construction next door (heard it wil be the Ritz Carlton and won't be done til 2013 at earliest...not even drywalled or all levels constructed) but little to no noice amazingly just not the best view if put in a room on that side (the reason we upgraded to tradewinds floor). I would go back tomorrow and not change a thing.
“Nice spot to stay in Aruba”
My wife and I recently stayed at the Marriott Stellaris located at Palm Beach in Aruba. The hotel is in nice shape and the staff are all very friendly. Great pool, beach, and the best casino in Aruba is at this hotel. The only complaints are the comfort of the beds and the food is a little overpriced in some of their restaurants. Many Marriott locations have nice, comfy beds that are usually manufactured by one of the big major bed brands. This hotel happens to have foam only mattresses with no innersprings so they have poor back support. My lower back ached a fair bit each morning. The food in one of the restaurants called La Vista was just average but a dinner for 2 without alcohol still would average over $100 USD. The sushi was pretty good at their sushi restaurant but again overpriced as rolls were up to $20 each. You can get better sushi in Tokyo for less than that. Overall the hotel was decent and we did enjoy the trip.

Area:
Palm Beach, Aruba: The question on Palm Beach is this: lounge or live large? Theres a reason the major resorts and clubs are located near these calm waters. The beach is an ideal place to do absolutely nothing, with a cold drink in hand. Theres also swimming, golf, horseback riding, ATV rentals, and plenty of water sports.
