Overall our experience with this particular Marriott facility was on par with what my husband and I have come to expect from Marriott. The young lady that checked up in was spectacular. The young lady cleaning rooms on our floor was spectacular, we needed extra towels and she got them to us quickly. The hotel was clean, and neat, what we've come to expect from the brand.
The only complaint is that an employee named Alex, who was tending to the front desk on the night of our stay was very rude and inappropriate with my husband. My husband asked Alex what time the complimentary breakfast was served because he didn't see the sign posted in the lobby. Instead of Alex simply answering my husband's question, he went on to tell him in a very flippant manner that the sign was behind him. This led to a verbal altercation in the lobby between my husband and Alex. It was a very unprofessional look for the facility and the brand. Had I been a potential guest walking in without benefit of a reservation and observed hotel staff going back and forth in a heated exchange with a guest, I would've turned right around, walked out and found other lodging.
This hotel never fails to deliver top notch service to their guests. They are very accommodating and always go the extra mile to service you and your requests. I stay here for business trips and always have an extremely pleasurable experience. The staff are super friendly as well .. I give them 5 stars!
This is a really convenient place to stay. It is just a short walk down the hill from a very nice public beach where families would enjoy the sand and water. It is a short drive from any of the Laguna attractions and restaurants. The rooms have had an obvious very recent and modern renovation and they feel luxurious. Although the property is on the Pac Hwy the buildings are inset away from it so I heard no traffic noise. The proprietor is a super friendly guy who was very accommodating and is clearly committed to making this place a success. I can recommend without reservation.
We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was better than most complimentary breakfasts that we've had before. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Our only concern was that the parking is rather tight.
