Excellent Hotel of five star standard. The numerous pools and gardens make this an excellent place to relax, with high quality food and service in all the restaurants.
My only request would be a kettle in the spacious rooms to complete the experience.
Lovely location. Fantastic spa. Lots of steps to the beach so could be a problem for those who have trouble walkng. We went with 4 year old and although hotel takes children we would go back just as a couple. You can't have proper meal until 1930/2000 which is too late for young children. Service can be sllooowww... Lovely food.
Helpful staff, everything I needed, bed a little too hard for my liking but may suit others.
When I informed reception that my aircon didn't function adequately, they changed the whole system the next day! New a/c worked brilliantly and with little noise, so I can recommend room 319!
Bathroom a bit cramped but all in all, excellent value!

The Hotel is ideally located for a peaceful holiday, yet lies within strolling distance of shops, restaurants and …More
We stayed for a week in June for a last-minute trip away with our 15-month old. The pictures do not do the place justice, it is much nicer in reality. Easy check-in, very pleased with the apartment (which is one bed, not two as the website says, however couch in lounge becomes another bed if needed). Our toddler son slept in our room in a travel cot which was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. Gardens and pool are very clean and well maintained.
The restaurant and bar was closed as we were too early in the season but that didn't bother us - we either cooked in or ate out at local restaurants. There is a cafe on site which sells burgers, pizzas etc (good pizzas) and bottles of water and fresh bread every morning, but for anything more the local supermarket has everything.
We had a great stay and have already recommended to friends with babies who want a complete get away and relaxing chill out. SIte is quiet and relaxed - no entertainment, which is how we like it!
Armação boasts one of Portugal's longest beaches. Soft pale sand slopes to a sparkling clear blue sea, framed by stunning rocky cliffs. Enjoy the catch of the day at a waterfront café, sample lively bars and clubs, or escape to Old Pêra, the tiny hillside village with its 17th century fort and cobbled streets, for a romantic starlit supper. Sea Life and water parks are very close by for days out.
