“Friendly hotel with great views and good quality reasonably priced food”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly, the food of a high standard and the view from our room was impressive. Loch Lomond is only a short drive away. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonably priced high quality hotel in this part of Scotland.

“Restaurant”

main course portion size was very disappointing. Sea bass and clams comprised 2 small strips of sea bass (2 inches long) and 5 tiny clams plus 2 lettuce leaves and some small diced veg for 17 poonds was very poor value.

“after room change everything was great.”

The first room (room 1) was a large room, the heating did not work, slight smell of damp and the shower was difficult to use. We asked for another room the next day. The receptionist was very helpful and we ended up with a lovely room, fantastic view and no complaints at all. The breakfast was really good and service was brilliant. Overall a good hotel and I would use it again.
