The general standard of the hotel is fine, but there are a few negative points that are not obvious to spot when you book up.
1. The hotel really is in the middle of nowhere, there is a small beach a couple of minutes walk away (with nothing much on it), but that's it, no bars, shops, sights etc... A car is a must becuase the nearest civilisation is ~30mins drive on the very scary mountain roads...
2. There's no TV's in the room or WiFi, and we couldn't get any kind of phone signal.
3. Couple the lack of nearby shops, bars, restaurants, with the fact that the hotel bar/restaurants only opens at breakfast/dinner, with a very limited menu, and you can quickly see the problem. (also, even when open, the prices at the hotel are very high!!)
On the plus side, the owner is very helpful and friendly, and the place is very clean/tidy. It is also a very peaceful and beautiful spot - so if you just want to veg out by the pool, then this place will be fine for you.
