“Died and gone to heaven.......”
Probably one of the best small boutique hotels we have stayed in over recent years. Location for exploring Tuscany is ideal, Cortona itself is a mere 5 mins drive from the hotel where you will find numerous excellent restaraunts. Already planning our return visit. Directions to the hotel (from Cortona) follow the signs mentioned in their own site and turn right at the traffic lights.
“Charming, historic hotel on a mini vineyard”
This was a truly unique hotel with a true Tuscan feel, tucked away at the end of a quiet road with a view of Cortona up above. Cortona was a 10 minute drive and you need a car if you are staying at this hotel. The grounds are beautifully maintained with a small vineyard. They make their own wine which we tried and it was delicious. There's also a small golf range at the hotel and ample free parking. The pool was clean and picturesque, with beverage service. The lobby was old world and charming while also being sophisticated. At the front desk, Paulo was invaluable. He knew the area very well, was very knowledgeable about wines and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and served out in the gardens. Our room was huge with high ceilings and attractive decor. The bath was also a good size with a jet massage shower stall, toilet and bidet en suite. Everything was clean and well maintained. The small staff was friendly, spoke English and were very courteous. Our four small complaints: 1. Weird policy of no outside food in rooms or common areas. 2. Our bed had a slightly musty smell to it. 3. We were told we'd have a king but got a queen as their only room that has two twin beds to push together to make into a king was occupied. 4. Another weird policy, they won't give you an iron to use in your room, though-they will have the ladies iron your shirt and get it back to you in one hour, which was a treat if you're not in a rush or have lots of ironing.
“Best Experience Ever!!!”
My husband and I just got back from Italy, one of our stops was in Cortona. We stayed at the Villa Baldelli, how can I begin to express what and amazing experience it was. We arrived at the train station, not knowing where the Villa was, my husband called the hotel to find out how to get a taxi. To our surprise we were told that Vittorio (the owner) would pick us up. Vittorio was the most charming, hospitable person. Then again everyone at the Villa was the same way. Margarita at the front desk when we checked out, was just absolutely charming and nice. The young girl who served us the coffee when we had breakfast, and everyone we encountered. The Villa took my breath away, charming and true to the time. Serene, peaceful and beautiful. Our only regret was that we only stayed there for 1 night, I could have stayed for a week. This Villa and our Cortona experience will be one of the top of all of our travel experiences, and we've been to many places in the world. If you go to Cortona, you MUST stay at the Relais Villa Baldelli, and be transported back to a time when making a guest feel like a king or queen was a must. You will be delighted by the breakfast with home baked goodies, fresh juices, fantastic deli meats and home made bread, wonderful, aromatic coffee that will entise your taste buds to a new heigth. While you are there, please tell Vittorio that Pia says Buon Giorno, e mi manca verdere il tuo bel vise. Ciao
“Weekend stupendo”
Hotel stupendo racchiuso nel verde. Un'oasi di pace nella quale rilassarsi in coppia. Le città distano pochissimo ed è quindi facile spostarsi durante il giorno. Grande cortesia e professionalità

建屋の雰囲気はまさに昔ながらのヴィラそのものを改修しており、庭が広く、美しいトスカーナの畑や山岳に囲まれ、トスカーナの美しい景観を堪能するには最高のロケーション！プールからは丘の上に立つコルトーナの旧市街も遠く見渡す事が出来る。のんびりとトスカーナの休日を堪能したい方には是非お勧め。またここのDinnerは味、雰囲気、値段も非常に良い！部屋も十二分に広く、ホテルのスタッフの対応も良い。 但し、車で移動しない人には不向き。以前にこの周辺を来た事がある人はともかく初めての人はGPSがない限りまず辿り着く事が出来ないのでご注意を。また非常に雰囲気があるので子供連れは遠慮されたい。
