“Montañas del Fuego”
Nice and quiet hotel near La Fortuna. Friendly staff.
“Great views of volcano from your room”
Great views from your room. Enjoy a delicious breakfast and even better views of the volcano. Great place to stay and very close to Springs Resort and Spa where you can enjoy use of their faciities for two days for only $40 per person.
“GreaT volcano views!”
This hotel is really nice- the little cabins are very comfortable and the patios are great for sitting outside looking at the volcano. We saw lava shoot out of the top of the volcano at night! It also rumbled and let off some gases. Very cool! The zip line and rapel canopy tour with horseback riding were pretty awesome, too. Buy tickets for the hot springs in town, though- you can save a lot of money.
“Montana de fuego it is for real”
it was a wonderful experience, the front desk people were very nice, the security guards were helpful, the whole trip was a blast, we were able to see 2 eruptions of arenal volcano, what a spectacular view. Love the access to see the volcano craters, we saw also the blue river 2 hours away, it was worth each minute hiking in mud and to see this clear river turned blue turquoise right there was the best, we recommend 200% plus.
“second time around was totally disappointing”
the hotel could and should have put us in another room but they chose to not to do so. to be considered upper tier hotel and have all these things wrong with it is unacceptable.
“Not Impressed”
Very impersonal. I was issued wrist bands to be able to eat breakfast at the hotel --- it is not that big. They only had information on their own tours, nothing about other tours and attractions in the area. Room was old and not a good value for the age and condition.
“A nice, older, resort with great views of the Arenal Volcano”
The customer service at this resort is really outstanding. We were greeted at the front desk by Carlos and immediately taken on a tour of the grounds. We discovered all the resort amenities and also where we might spy toucans and monkeys in the morning. Carlos was comfortably available to use throughout our stay. The food at the restaurant was good, with breakfast being a stand out. The resort does show it's age in places but for the price it is not objectionable. The views of the volcano are exceptional.
