we liked the hotel because it was by the Mayo civic Center. The only complaint was when we wanted to check out no one was around. We waited approximately 15 to 20 mins. Another thing was for parking we had to park by ramp outside due to our vehicle was too tall for ramp. But the problem was we had to back out to get out, it was a one way road.
Hotel has extremely helpful and friendly front desk staff. Rooms are clean, good AC, plenty of hot water for showers. Especially helpful was the towne car mode of transportation getting to and from Mayo Clinic. There are plenty of surrounding restaurants within 2-3 blocks of hotel. Everything was easy whether needing an extra blanket or getting directions. Thanks for making my week long visit hassle free.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed there for 5 nights on the third night our backs were getting a little sore from the firm mattress. I mentioned it to the staff and a little while later they showed up with an additional mattress pad and some more padding they got from another hotel. I was impressed that they would make the effort to make sure our bed was comfortable.
The hotel is great f you have doctor appt. to get to and don't want to drive. The hotel had coffee ready before the bus took us to our first appt. at 5:45 am and brought us back at 7:00 am in time for breakfast. We had time to shower and then the bus took us to another appt. at 10;00 am. Parking is free and so is the shuttle bus.
