A Hilton is a Hilton...
Upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite and we were given access to the executive lounge, a very nice unexpected surprise.
Only comment is the internet connectivity "issues". Even with the access code for exclusive guests we were not always able to connect to the internet.
Otherwise everything was very nice.
The hotel is very central, close to many shopping spots and restaurants.
There is a metro station right under the hotel which makes moving around the city Very easy.
I had a long journey by train from Munich so the last thing I wanted was a long walk from the train station or an expensive taxi ride. This hotel is nicely located next to the station in Antwerp, yet the city noise is minimal. It's close enough for a nice walk to the pier, the Mas Museum or the Cathedral. Plus, there are a lot of charming restaurants in the area, including the hotel itself.
The room was very clean and spacious. It even had air conditioning, very unusual for the hotels I've seen in Europe.
The next time I stay in Antwerp, I'll definitely be back to the Lindner!
I stayed in the hotel a week and was very happy with everything, the staff were friendly, the room was clean and large by European standards and everything worked. Would stay here again.
My only gripe was the Wi-Fi in the room was a bit expensive - 17 EUR/day or 88 EUR/week. I got the weekly deal and it worked great, super-fast and always on. Alternatively you can use the free Wi-Fi in the lobby which worked well also.
