“Exceptional”
As a regular business traveller I always try to stay at the local Lindner. The only thing that is not value for money at any Lindner hotel is breakfast. Don't know why. Otherwise room, service, food quality, etc: exceptional.
“Good Location”
Location was very convenient, just go through station concourse, and the hotel was just outside of the station. Coffee shops and supermarket was alongside of the concourse. Safe and convenient to take train.
“Techno modern beside train station”
Loved this place. Its location was a bit strange -- on the wrong side of the tracks in Antwerp but a quick stroll through the combo train station/diamond district to get to it safely. The hotel is quite new and nicely appointed. Very comfortable bed (two twins as king) in large room with extra chairs and desk. PLUS - a nespresso with 6 free capsules! Didn't eat there as the pedestrian only street is just outside the other side of the station. Also the tourist squares have nice cafe and can be reasonable if you shop carefully. Liked Antwerp -- only spent one night but would stay again if it worked into travel plans. Just a 50 minute bus ride to the Brussels airport -- more convenient than the train as you have to transfer on train. Bus stop is just outside the train station. Great beer cafe (just outside train station!) has over 300? offerings. Hotel staff was great.
“Decent hotel next to Antwerp Centraal station”
This is a decent hotel within two or three minutes walk of Antwerp Centraal station. The rooms are a good size and are comfortable and have everything you need. Would recommend.
“the hotel location and enveiroment was ecxelent.”
almost everything was o.k. eccept 2 things, 1.the t.v. in my room (1010) was not connected although i asked every day to connect it. 2.the refrigerator did not wark the entire 3 days .
“Great home base for the conference”
Was there while attending a conference elsewhere in town. Very well run, comfortable, everything worked, very quiet so I slept well. And ate well, too. I would have expected basic internet connectivity and breakfast to be included. There is, though, a charming and wholesome little café and bakery right beside the hotel's entrance, if you need just a small breakfast or a sandwich for lunch later when heading out.
“Good value and very central”
The hotel was excellent! Very clean and modern and very good value. Cocktails on the top floor were also very good. Loved it would definately go again. Also the place next door to the hotel served an excellent breakfast in a kind of farmhouse kitchen atmosphere...beautiful!
“Very nice hotel”
The Lindner is a very attractive and clean hotel with comfortable beds and good water pressure in the shower. The staff was cheerful, helpful, and friendly, and housekeeping was nearly surgical in the precision of their timing to clean our room. We never saw them but the the room was seen to every day, even when we didn't give them much of a chance to get in. We took no meals at the Lindner but Le Pain Quotidien is right next door and is quite good for breakfast. The Central Station is very close by. But the hotel is located in a charming little plaza so people who need to minimize walking should keep in mind that there's a bit of a hike to get to the street. The lounge on the 12th floor offers fantastic views of Antwerp.
“Breakfast at Lindner Hotel is not worth 18 euros/person”
The hotel is next to the train station and is very convenient if you are traveling by train, but not convenient if you're traveling by car. The hotel was far from the Grote Market, main attractions, restaurants, etc. and transportation to the main attractions was difficult to find. The neighborhood around the hotel was not in the best shape, a lot of the buildings were run-down and I felt unsafe walking around. We arrived a day later than our reservation and because we made the reservation thru expedia we were still charged for 2 days instead of 1. At check-in we were told that breakfast was included in the price, but we were charged 18 euros/person and they would not credit us for it. The hotel was clean and comfortable, but overall, I will not be staying there again.
“Very impressed!”
Besides being conveniently located to the train station, shopping, etc., the hotel had a wonderful restaurant. The staff was wonderful; it rained one day during our stay. The hotel staff provided us with umbrellas. We live in the US, so we had some adaptors which worked in Spain but not in Belgium. They loaned us an adaptor for our full stay. Very impressed with everything about the hotel.
