“Good winter hotel”

I stayed here for only one night. It's a typical European hotel with not many amenities but very good for the price I paid I arrived around midnight, registration paperwork was ready, Staff was friendly and helpful and it took me only 2 minutes till I was in a nice sized clean room and huge bathroom. It wasn't my first time here and I would definitaly go back in the winter. There's no AC in the rooms which makes it uncomfortable for summer stays.

“Not impressed, staff extremely rude”

The room was clean and comfortable, but there was trash all over the street in front of the hotel. The hotel doesn't have air conditioning and the room on the 7th floor was very hot. In addition the staff were arrogant and unfriendly.

“I will stay again”

I stayed one nigth. It good deal, not expansive and near train station and walking distance to main attraction. Breakfast is very good. They have internet connection in the room

“Would stay there again”

The staff was exteremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was elaborate and good service overall.

This hotel is close to public transport and lots of supermarkets and close to the City Centre - I used to walk along the City Park to get to the City.

“Average at best”

This hotel was clean and the service was reasonable, but the room was outdated and looked shabby. Antwerp was great to visit, but this hotel was not.

“Convenient but nothing special.”

This hotel is located about 20 minutes walk from the centre of Antwerp. It is convenient, yet the parking is extra unless you get on-street parking. The interior of the hotel is dated, dirty and shabby. The room was functional but dirty. Likewise the bathroom. It was the hottest day of the year, and there was no air-con, the room was like a sauna. The staff were indifferent. The breakfast was cheap, poorly laid out, the dining room dirty with cheap paper place-mats and serviettes un-cleared from previous customers. The coffee was awful. Stay here only for the cheap price, and not the quality.

“You get what you pay for!”

The room we stayed in for the first two nights was so noisy that we had a hard time sleeping. We changed room to the other side of the hotel which was much better. Smell of cigarette smoke was everywhere in that hotel.

Antwerpen is such a nice city. A lot of museums and cultural things to look at.

“Great value for money in a safe neighbourhood.”

Hotel is situated in a nice, safe neighbourhood. About an easy 15 minute walk into the city. Loads of supermarkets right by. Rooms are very quiet and very large..bathrooms seem relatively new and very appealing. Staff were always friendly and free breakfast was great. Would definatly stay here again.

Area recommendations

The hotel is situated in a mostly Jewish neighbourhood so very safe at all times of the day and night. Would NOT recommend staying anywhere near China Town as it seems very dangerous after dark.

“Did the job”

It was tough to find street parking around the hotel to check-in, it was very busy. But after we'd done that, the hotel parking was fine. The hotel isn't that close to any restaurants, etc, but they were within walking distance, as was the city centre. The room was fine, no issues, it did the job for an overnight stay.
