Good location

Posted 06-May-2015
Pros: Good all round
Cons: Only Magic a few more parking spaces maybe
Location: Close to Giants Causeway , lots of golf courses, some very pretty scenery. Would recommend travel to Port Rush via The Coastal Route
Nice hotel overlooking the sea. Breakfast excellent. Tourist attractions within easy reach parking can be an issue.

Very good hotel

Great location overlooking the Skerries. Staff were very helpful on check in and in the bar and restaurant. Rooms are well equipped and quiet, and the bathrooms were very clean. Only had breakfast there so can't comment much on the restaurant, but breakfast was standard buffet style and had everything you need in a cooked breakfast

Great location nice food and friendly staff

Posted 17-Apr-2015
Pros: Location and sea view was spectacular along with very helpful friendly staff..Breakfast was amazing with plenty to choose from.
Cons: No complaints
Booked a 3 night stay with 3 separate family rooms, very happy with this hotel. Friendly and helpful staff all round. Would recommend staying here and I would have no trouble staying again if we ever decide to visit Portrush. Breakfast was amazing, unfortunately we never had a chance to dine at night in the restaurant but other guests were saying it was fantastic. Lovely clean spacious rooms with a large flat screen TV with loads of HD and sky channels to choose from absolutely free. Our room had a beautiful sea view. Perfect location for sightseeing . We hired a car and the hotel has a large free car park for guests with plenty spaces. On street parking was free but at high season there is a charge.

Ramada Portrush - Valentine's Weekend

Posted 17-Feb-2015
Pros: The location The room The food
Cons: Staff attitudes to guests Customer service and communication.
Basically, everything about this hotel was OK, apart from staff service. The pre-stay service was excellent. Easy to book, good description of facilities on their site and contact with reception prior to our stay could not be faulted. It took us a while to find a parking space in Portrush, as the hotel parking held about 8 cars. Initial impressions of the hotel were good. We were then checked in by a receptionist who was either learning her trade, had been let down by a romantic attache or just wasn't interested in being there. The room was great. Bed very comfortable. Lots of space. And most importantly, an ocean view. Lovely. A few minor problems with the room. The windows didn't shut meaning the wind coming off the sea howled through the gaps. Also, a light at the door would not go off. It was on a dimmer, rather than a switch, which left it dimly flashing on and off all the time. But overall, it was clean, it was quite and it was very comfortable. The staff in the hotel restaurant were not very good at all. We waited 25 minutes with our menus before we decided to leave. 6 staff waiting about 7 tables? Not good. Breakfast was fine as we were able to serve ourselves, meaning not have to bother the waiting staff. I ordered flowers for the room which did not arrive, despite leaving contact details to inform me of any problems. This issue ran late into the Saturday evening with the receptionist. It was (finally) more than satisfyingly rectified.
