Nice staff and great room. Book for one night, decide to stay a second night because the hotel was great and well located. It is preferable to book on line for better price. We had to pay 20$ us more for the second night even we were told it will be the same price. We did not argue since we were in a rush to leave to catch our boat.
It was a great pleasure to stay at this hotel - centrally, but calmly located, close to ferry connections. The room was very pleasant, the service accommodating and very friendly, and the facilities including the pool area were extraordinary.

I usually stay places a step up from this one, so I was kind of skeptical about what it would be like. It's located in a cool area of the historic Montevideo in an historic building. It's over a hundred years old with high ceilings and deco furniture. It was pretty clean and stayed that way. The staff is incredible. INCREDIBLE. And the guests who stayed there were really cool, too. Interesting people traveling around: educated, professional, students, hipsters etc from everywhere. I had an amazing experience there and highly recommend it. It was an excellent value for the price.
I had a great experience at the hotel. The location is good, close to the old part of Montevideo. Staff is friendly and helpful and speaks English. They were also very helpful to book a tour for me. Overall, clean hotel with excellent value for money.
