    “Better than the brochure”

The pictures and description of Galley Bay really don't do it justice. The quality of hotel and the level of service were 5 star and it really was as all-inclusive as advertised - we even had free sailing lessons. It is ideal for a relaxing, get away from it all holiday and I would recommend it unreservedly.

    “Absolute Paradise”

Just got back. I dont use these word lightly butthe trip was the best I have ever been on. Accoodation is top class Setting is perfect Food amazing (a la care all inclusive was far better than buffets) Bar and drinks very good (no cheap spirits or watered down drinks) People so friendly Beach is beautiful and very private (Armarni's house is at the end of it but nobody else is) Sure, there are a couple of thinks that they could do differently but nothing was to much boter for the staff and I have never felt so relaxed. We didnt leave the hotel for 7 days because it was so nice. We stayed in the Gaugan cottages. There are 18 of them, each with their own private pool. Whilst not on the beach, it is only 50m away. Could not recommend highly enough

    “A very romantic place!”

I agree with the reviews written here. Galley Bay is for couples who are looking for excellent food, phenomenal view, and above and beyond customer service. The staff were ALWAYS helpful, courteous and ever ready to cater to your needs. They take pampering to a new level. My fiancee and I both agree that our stay at the Galley Bay was made much more fulfilling due to the phenomenal service of the staff. They truly go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. If you are looking for night entertainment this may not be the place for you as the band stops playing at 11pm. After 11pm there is not much in terms of a nightlife. But I must say that our cottage/hut was right on the beach. We stayed in Cottage #4. Our back door led right out to the beach. Drinks were all-inclusive. 3 restuarants on this resort. Ismay will cost you 70.00 per couple with reservation. The other two are inlcusive. All restaurants serve delicous food a la carte. Transportation to the town can be arranged by visitng guest services and requesting car service. I was annoyed about the difference in price to the airport. On our return to the airport, we were charged an extra fee because we left at 5:00 am. We were told the "standard rate" applies After 7 am. I think this was nonsense. Nevertheless, it was a great vacation!

    “Paradise”

Galley Bay was everything we had hoped for - beautiful, relaxed, secluded, romantic. The food and drink were great - I wasn't sure what to expect from an all-inclusive, but I was very very happy (and not just from the delicious drinks). Two thumbs up, I'd go back in a heartbeat.

    “Wish I was still there”

My husband and I chose galley bay resort for our honeymoon. Everything about the hotel was fantastic, the staff, the rooms, the restaurants, just perfect. We can't wait to go back and review our vows on the beach one day. We highly recoommend this resort for all couples looking for a beautiful atmosphere, a laid back relaxing setting and friendliness to the point you feel like you have known them for years.

    “Beautiful view”

The resort was beautiful and very well maintained. The view was magnificent, definitely a place for relaxing. The food was good, but got boring after a few days. They could have had more food choices. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but were slow in responding to requests. The resort should have a shuttle for guests. That would be a nice touch. When you want to leave the resort, it has to be by taxi, which was an added expense.

The nightlife is nonexistent. We were very disappointed about that. Relaxing, beautiful place during the day, but needed something more to do at night.

    “Couldn't have been more perfect!”

After 2 years of searching the Caribbean for the perfect weddingmoon resort, we could not be more satisfied with having chosen Galley Bay.We are very private people so we were looking for something quiet, not crowded, with a beautiful beach (to have the wedding on) with a rustic, unpretentious feel. That's exactly what we found at Galley Bay. We stayed in a premium beachfront suite and we were extremely satisfied with our room. The sand was litterally steps from our patio doors and the view from the bed looking out at the ocean was phenominal! We can't commend the staff enough for their excellent service and attention to detail. Natashe and Levique were among the greatest bartenders we had the pleasure to meet. They really go all out to entertain you and make sure you're having a great time. I stressed over wedding details before leaving for the trip which was time completely wasted. I immediately trusted that Ernestine, (the onsite wedding co-ordinator) to make things beautiful in first 5 minutes of talking with her. We were married on the beach at 4pm and ate supper at 7 in the white gazeebo at Ismay's restaurant at 7. We had a nap by the pool before lunch on our wedding day! No stress at all. The spa services were great aswell. Mani/pedi, massage, makeup...all great! The food is wonderful at all restaurants. The Gaugin is so romantic with it's thatched roof huts facing the ocean. Every table is placed so that you're facing the ocean while you eat.

    Family-friendly activities
Stingray City was fun. What an experience! We didn't expect to see so many sting-rays and they rub up against your legs when they swim by. A little freaky at first but you get used to it. Paddles was a kayaking and snorkel tour that is family operated. We had a wonderful time with them. This is an eco-tour that is a must-do! It is highly rated in things-to-do here on tripadvisor so check it out!
