“A little disapointing”

Probably one of our least favourite hotels in Turkey. It's in a great location and the room was clean and tidy. But we didn't have any windows, it was very dark and dreary. The pool area also didn't have any umbrellas or shade, considering it was 40 degrees not ideal, the bar isn't staffed after 4pm so you can't get any refreshments either. The staff were also very unfriendly, not a single person spoke to us or said hello, most unlike everywhere else in Turkey.

“Good Experience”

Friendly and helpful staff that did their best to please the guests. Meals were very good, drinks were expensive but this seemed to be common in the region. The room was not large, but generally clean and tidy and looked as in the pictures. The bathroom was of good size, well kept but showed its age. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the nearby paid beach. The location is very convenient. Having travelled in the region (from Alanya to Kas) , Kaleici (old town in Antalya) is clearly the place to stay, but there is also plenty to see in Antalya. Driving around is not easy, but it can become part of the experience, which overall was very pleasant experience.

“Very Pleased- outstanding location in old city Antalya”

This hotel is a bargain! Tons of character and tastefully renovated. Staff was helpful- even carried our bags to the taxi outside! Our room was in Block B and didn't have a view but it was very private and about 20 steps from the great pool and breakfast/restaurant area. Location is right on top of the old harbor and a 5-10 min walk to the clock tower, Hadrians Gate, and the dancing fountain in downtown. Shopping and dining are close by and we found that many of the bars/restaurants had live music around sunset. The full size bed was more comfortable than most I have encountered in Turkey. A Solid 4 Star boutique hotel within the ancient walls of Antalya!

“Marina review”

Overall, the place is charming. They had a great breakfast buffet and nice outdoor area by the pool. However, our room was on the street side, which was loud at night. You could hear the music from the club down the street. And it was also EXTREMELY hot. If you left for the day, our room was on the sunny side and got sooooooooo warm. You couldn't keep the AC on because you needed the key in the little socket to keep the power on. Also you couldn't bring in any food or drink into the hotel or they'd charge you 33% of a service fee. I thought that was ridiculous considering the food was expensive at the hotel, as well as the mini bar. The people were very nice, and the room was cleaned promptly.

Traveller's tip
Go up the stairs, outside of the Old antalya area, and everything becomes so much cheaper. The water from the drug store, a cold beverage, a meal reduced by 1/2 the price if you walk for a few minutes out of the old area.

“relax and be pampered by friendly staff”

Quiet hotel, great location in centre of Kaleici old town. Well organised and friendly. Nice pool and shady outdoor patio areas, can order drinks or food any time of day, 25% off midday to 4.00. 1/2 board - food very good, different every day, quick service. Room ok, a balcony would be nice, hotel is probably listed though - (3 converted Ottoman houses) Small nearby sandy beach, or large stony beach a tram ride away. Anya popular sandy beach a few miles away, cheap local bus service. Good location for boat and coach excursions - we went on a few very good trips. A nice quiet friendly hotel in a great historic location - we would go back!

Traveller's tip
Take some Turkish Lira for the airport taxi (about 35TL to Kaleici old town) Sterling/TL exchange rate approx 10% better in Antalya than eg airport. Everything is priced in TL or Euros. Euro price is more expensive, so pay in TL. Antalya airport food/drink most expensive I've seen in any airport - take your own food/drink for the return trip. Excursions good value - (some take you round tourist shops on the way, which did not interest us).

“Good hotel, great location”

We stayed at the Marina Residence for 4 nights in early May. The hotel was beautiful and in a great location, right next to the harbor in the middle of Kaleici. Our only complaint was that breakfast, while decent, consisted of the same buffet items every morning.

“Excellent Bargain for visiting Antalya in Winter”

February is Low Season in down town Antalya and as expected the swimming pool was out service. Hotel location is very convenient for sightseeing and getting around in the Town. For the price paid for this stay was well worth it - no regrets.
