“The look of a hospital”

The good... This hotel had very helpful staff with a great selection for breakfast and a complete and well maintained gym. There were additional perks with tea and bagels at 5pm around the pool every day. Someone would walk around and clean your sunglasses for you and they also had a few games to play. There was also a waterpark beside the hotel that you had free entrance into. The bad... the room looked like a hospital room all in white. It was very cold not comfortable and not clean at all. When white is used for everything stains and streak marks show, this is exactly what our room had. We asked for another room which was not much better. They really need to update at least the bathroom seats and linens. I stayed at the Hillside Su for 5 days and I think it was too long. The only thing within walking distance is a mall. The downtown area is a 10-15 min drive but worth going there for the restaurants. Overall the interior of the hotel, although modern, was not kept clean in the rooms, the hallways had a bad smell to them but the main lobby/lounge was decent. They really need to add some colour to the rooms so that it does not look so much like a hospital room.

“Nice, but hard beds”

Hillside Su is a very prominent hotel - which is good when you are taking a taxi - as every taxi driver seemed to know where it was. The beach is nice - and much less crowded than the public beaches. Service was great. My only complaint was the bed - very hard.

Area recommendations

Hotel is a 45 -50 minute walk into the Old Town of Antalya. If you want to stay on the beach, I definately recommend it.

From Antalya airport, it is about a 50 Lira cab ride.

“HillSide superb!”

This hotel certainly has the wow factor with its unique design. The choice of food in the buffet is very good and includes a very popular grill section. The staff did everything they could to ensure we had a very good stay in the hotel.

“Good for couples, honeymooners etc.”

Very nice hotel. Great place to get away for couples.Very easy to access the beach. Nice pool and other outdoor amenities. I noticed alot of couples and honeymooners there. It probably the best value for money that I received on a 5 star hotel.

Area recommendations

Check out Kaleici (the Old Town) for sure. Its a very underrated for an old town.

“Strikingly different, surprisingly nice”

“I wish I had stayed longer... absolutely amazing.”

The Su was a truely amazing hotel. Everything about it was near perfect. I had stayed at hundreds of hotels around the globe and this is one of my best experiences. The staff was very friendly, food was great (almost gourmet style), and the room luxurious with a huge balcony overlooking the pool and sea. The gardens and surrounding grounds are gorgeous. Access to the semi-private beach is very easy (5 minutes walk from the pool). Beach is the best part of the whole deal, it is not a sandy beach but a pebbles beach which is very comfortable and you can lie directly on the beach without having sand sticking to your body and making your life miserable. Also swimming in the sea is much more comfortable with pebbles than sand. Beach has a nice diving platform that extends approximately 15m into the sea. Hotel is within walking distance from a nice shopping mall with great shops, fast food and movie theater. You can also go for a great walk at night along the beach with many outdoor cafes, ice cream and soft drink vendors, ....etc Downtown is only 10 minutes ()13 Turkish Liras) away by taxi. Only negative thing I can say is that this hotel is not suitable for conservative familes. There were too many near naked people with the occasional topless woman, which was a bit too much for us. Also, the hotel does not have a dress code inside the lobby area or the restauranst. So, don't be surpised to see someone in a bathing suit laying in the lobby or walking in the restaurant.
