This isn’t a nice hotel. Of that, evidence abounds: chipped furniture, frayed carpet, thrift store bedside lamp. A pervasive smell of cream of wheat. The breakfast consists of coffee, packaged oatmeal, off-brand honeybuns, and granola bars. A sign glued to the vent-a-hood reminds guests to open their windows when cooking. And yet, during my morning stroll to the honeybun cabinet I was reminded that there are families and children who call this home on a weekly to monthly basis. This isn’t a “nice” hotel. And $88 per night seems high. But it is dry, safe, and relatively clean. The shower worked well and the beds were soft. In the end, the sparse amenities are offset by a heaping share of reality and a reminder to be grateful for what I have and mindful of what others lack.

Adequate, convenient location. Average.
This hotel is pretty conveniently located. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Check in was good. The lobby is small and there were "renovations" happening, but only in the form of painting the back stairways, as far as I could tell. The rooms were ok. The kitchenette was very dated and really wasn not well equipped for an extended stay. There were no pots or pans, only plates and bowls for 2 people. There was no coffee maker in the room. The continental breakfast that was called "grab and go" was little more than prepackaged muffins and such, and was very underwhelming. All that said, I had a decent stay for 1 night, but would be disappointed if i was staying more long term.

Price was cheaper than other hotels available for this weekend. Hotel lobby was similar to a local prison reception area. Receptionist clearly wanted to be anywhere but there. The room smelled so strange. Can’t even describe what it was, but it wasn’t pleasant. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, but the metal frame squeezed so terribly that I didn’t want to move. “Breakfast”. Really? You call this breakfast? A small cabinet had coffee carafes. Hot water for tea was in a coffee carafe so it was disgusting. “Food”? Right. One plastic wrapped honey bun and a few granola bars. No thanks.

A solid 2.5 out of 5 to be honest.
Check in was just fine. The staff are all very nice and friendly. The room is decent but not overly nice. For being a potential extended stay hotel, there is no coffee maker in the room, which I found to be very inconvenient as there is a kitchenette, but nothing to cook with. I did find hair between the blanket and bed sheet. The grab and go breakfast is not great. I paid what I consider to be alot of money for what I got.

The bed in the handicap room was too low to the floor and I could not get out of the bed. I had to drag myself to the bathroom to use the handrail to lift myself up. I ended up sleeping the rest of the night in the chair.

We had been staying because of a lacrosse tournament. We came in and had to wait for someone to show up at the front desk. We kept yelling to see if anybody was around if they were just in the back office. Though the girl was very pleasant once she showed up. We got into our room, and it stunk of smoke like it had been a smoking room. I didn’t know that you could actually still smoke in a room, but I had to look online to confirm I didn’t order the wrong type of room. I had not messed up my reservation. It just was obviously been smoked in. If the hotel actually reads this, it was room 321. This place is completely no-frills. It was very clean and it did have no carpeting. The floors were more of a faux wood, but that meant it was actually clean. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable.. The lack of amenities was a bit of an issue. When we stay in a hotel, we expect to be able to shower comfortably with soap and lotion. It doesn’t have to be the best stuff but it’s better than not having anything. I had to give my daughter, my good face cream to use on her legs. The only good thing was that we didn’t spend a ton of money for the little bit of time we were there, but I will carefully read in the future to know that rooms have proper sanitary needs. Lastly, the sink in the kitchen at dripped the entire night. At one point I had to put a pillow over my head until my husband had the bright idea of just putting a towel in the sink to capture the water drops.

This hotel was nice but the refrigerator in the room didn’t work right. The freezer worked for the refrigerator and the refrigerator didn’t work at all. And the shower curtain rod was hanging loose. But other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. We weren’t really expecting a little kitchenette, so it was a bonus. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Shabby Hotel
Calling the room a “superior suite” is a gross misuse of the word superior. Old, tired, and dingy all describe it better. Four of the lamps didn’t work and the refrigerator looked like it from a junk yard. I only stayed there, because everywhere else was full or outlandishly expensive because of the Navy football game. I go to Annapolis three or four time a year and this was hotel will never see me again.

This is not as advertised, room was under construction, terrible fresh paint smell, stove top was torn apart and placed in sink, tv did not work, and there was NO breakdast; only a granola bar and weak light coffee. Terrible. I want my money returned!!

Overall it was fine. However, these are the things we noticed that could use improvement. The fridge was dirty, there were no utensils, plates, cups pots and pans in kitchen. The front of bathroom sink counter was falling off. There was a big tear in the carpet. There were no extra blankets or hair dryer. The "breakfast" consisted of coffee, honey buns, cereal bars and oatmeal packs only. No water, juice, fruit, bagels, etc. There was no ice machine or vending machine. Lots of signs that said pardon the mess, so I would hope they are beginning to rehab the whole place.

This property is overpriced and in very poor condition. We stayed for one evening. The room was dirty and in poor condition. The kitchen has no kitchenware, the linens are old, and the television small and poorly placed. I would only stay here as a last resort.

The kitchenette room was neat & clean. No kitchen items in the room (ie plates utensils), although most are available at the front desk. I will pack a small bag for this purpose in the future. Shower pressure & temperature fantastic. Also very nice club chair as well as desk chair. Slept great/mattress perfect. Will definitely stay again.

Room was clean and reasonably comfortable. Bed was a bit bumpy. Bring your own toiletries as the shampoo & soap are pretty awful and no conditioner is provided. Towels are thin and they will not be refreshed during a 2 night stay. Breakfast? 😬 is disappointing at best. Coffee & hot water with packets of instant oatmeal, cheap granola bars and some packaged honey buns. I believe there might have been some hot cocoa packets. No regular cream for coffee, just flavored. Fortunately I had 1/2 & 1/2 in our room that I had bought to have in my iced coffee. For the price it almost met expectations. But I was expecting at least continental breakfast, not instant oatmeal packets to be made in paper coffee cups when I booked a hotel the advertised breakfast included. Indeed it was- but we went out for breakfast.

The toilet had hair in it when we arrived and the bathroom sink had whiskers in it from shaving. The bathroom sink and tub had cigarette burn marks all over and there was mold all around the faucet. The place advertised a full kitchen; however, the cabinets were empty. I asked for ice and they said I had to fill the trays in the freezer with water (and wait 3 hours for the ice to form). I asked for a bottle opener and they did not have one. The clerk at the desk opened the bottle with a knife and a scissor. I was afraid she would injure herself. The “breakfast” was granola bars and prepackaged pastries. There was a hole in the curtains. There were peanut shells and prunes on the carpet in the hallway after housekeeping had been by. The bed was comfortable. And there was hot water. Other than that, the facility was far below Hotels.com usual standards. I would cancel a trip to Annapolis before I would ever stay here again.
