“Wonderful Staff”

The staff was extremely helpful and very nice, at the desk, in the hallways and at breakfast. We got a king suite and the only issue was the sleeper sofa- we had to ask for the bedding (there were no sheets in the room) and it was very uncomfortable. The pool and spa were good and we even used the patio and bbq for dinner.

“Good place to stay in Ann Arbor”

We were very comfortable with the property condition and amenities. The breakfast offerings, in particular, were quite varied and generous. The hotel can be a little hard to find, and our arrival was a little awkward because the room was not ready yet (even though late in the pm). The hotel seemed to be struggling a bit with a large influx of guests. But the staff was very gracious and apologetic about the delay, and once we got settled into our room, the stay was fine in all respects and we felt the price was very reasonable.

“Impressed”

This hotel was right next to the interstate, across the road from the mall and restaurants. A short 6 minute drive to down town. Friendly staff, provided us with city maps and directions.

Area recommendations

Great indian restaurant downtown, have to visit the cherry and the cupcake stores. Lots of parking.

“Bring your earplugs”

The hotel is new and well maintained. The people at the front desk couldn't have been nicer. Our room was very nice, but neither my husband nor I could sleep because of the noise emanating into our room through the 1 inch gap between the floor and the base of the door and the lack of a tight fit of the door against the door frame. Our room was just off the lobby and there was a fire door that opened and closed every time someone came through the lobby and the floor outside our door was tiled so it was as if they were walking by our head all night long! (graduation weekend so there was a full house) The second night we shoved towels under the door and then stacked pillows on top and it was tolerable, although I wouldn't say quiet.

“Ann Arbor - close to campus and shopping”

Nice hotel - very close to campus, shopping and restaurants. Very quiet - even though the hotel was filled with young hockey players. Breakfast was quite adequate and filling for a large crowd.

Area recommendations

Briarwood Mall and the surrounding restaurants has all your travel needs. Lots of variety of eating establishments. From intimate to large groups.

“Very nice - would definitely go back”

The hotel was exactly what I had expected based on other reviews and the description and pictures. Staff was very friendly and they had free coffee, cookies, and food when we checked in during the "manager's mingle". Our room was clean and well maintained, as was the rest of the hotel. Free buffet breakfast, wi-fi, swimming pool and affordable room rates make this place a hit that we will certainly go back to. My only complaint (I hope the hotel is reading) is that there was no mini-fridge in the room. I don't need it stocked or anything, but guests do sometimes need one, as for example, to store medication, or in our case, baby bottles. And they could probably add one more computer to the "business center" area.

“Can't wait to return to this hotel”

Fantastic hotel-wouldn't hesitate to recommend due to its cleanliness, excellent service, and modern decor and comfort in a college setting. Great breakfast, also!

“Very comfortable place to stay!!!”

I was impressed with the condition of the hotel, the location was ideal for accessibility to local places as well as within walking distance to different restaurants and a mall. The staff was friendly and helpful. The continental hot breakfast was very nice and one of the most complete I have experienced. The pool was a nice size with an outdoor patio accessible if you didn't want to sit inside after a dip in the pool.
