I've been to my share of Courtyards and I definitely thought this was a nicer one. Room was spacious and clean, had a bar with coffee and desserts which was nice after going to Michigan hoops game. Convenient to Michigan Stadium and Crisler Arena. No luxury but its a Courtyard.

“Excellent stay for weekend trip to Ann Arbor”

This lovely Courtyard is super convenient to I'94 especially if coming in from Metro airport. Although its not within walking distance of downtown and all the great restaurants around Main St. its an easy quick drive in and quieter than downtown. The desk and room service was excellent and our king room clean, quiet, and comfortable and you also have full control of the thermostat and fan. Elevator was slow and the free coffee was unfortunately quite sub-par but these were not dealbreakers. Would have been nice to have some basic snacks available - i.e. free muffins/bananas/water but that might come with other room packages? The lobby and courtyard are beautifully decorated - would have been great to lounge outside (too cold when we went). We will probably stay here again on our next trip to A2 and I definitely recommend this hotel to others.

“Where we would come back to in Ann Arbor.”

We were very happy with our king suite. Room was very nice, what you would expect from a courtyard. There was a little construction in the lobby, but it didn't take from our experience. The hotel could be bettered signed. It's kind of in a office park. Once turning onto the street the hotel was technically on, we missed a turned and ended up coming back around. Though near malls and chain restaurants, it was a short drive to down town ann arbor. Hotel is five minutes from the "Big House"

“Roof leaked right over the bed!”

After the hotel we originally booked lost power, Expedia helped us to obtain rooms at this hotel. Our first impressions of the hotel and the room were wonderful. To be honest, we felt quite lucky that our original reservation was changed. Until around 5am when the roof above the bed began to leak water. When I went downstairs and told the desk clerk, she seemed very concerned and filled out a form underlining the fact that I was not happy 3 times. She said that maintenance was not in yet but that they would repair the problem as soon as they arrived. Lucky for me, I was ready to check out. The clerk also told me that the hotel manager would be calling me to discuss my stay. It has been several days and I have not heard from them. I can not recommend this hotel based on the roof leak alone which is a shame because, otherwise, I would have been very satisified.

We drove from Montreal to Ann Arbor (10-11 hours ride) and we arrived at the hotel around noon. We were very happy to get an early check-in. The staff was friendly and helpful (although to be honest, the guy who was at the desk during the evening was a lot friendlier than the chick who was there during the day). The hotel was clean and freshly renovated (except for the doors, strangely) and its location was awesome (for what we wanted to do anyway). The only thing I found mildly annoying was that they seemed to be using a water heating system and during the night, we could hear water dripping within the walls for a while.

Staff was great, hotel was great, location was great and the room was very comfortable.

“Ideal hotel for U/Michigan stay”

The location of the Courtyard Marriot makes it a perfect hotel for visitors to the University of Michigan campus. Easy in/out-adjacent to I-94 and close to campus. Property is clean, affordable. Fairly large room with a comfortable bed. Although not many ammenities, front desk staff, for the most part, was very accomodating.
