“Great hotel outside of Dundee”

Beautifully maintained hotel outside of Dundee. Great restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Staff was very friendly. It's very convienent to the motorway, but not much else, so if you don't have a car, it's that practical.

“Great location for being on the move”

Spent a week here, using this as a base as we drove to area golf courses. Our room was small, but not too tight. Beds were comfortable and everything was neat. They have restaurant downstairs so food was on hand all the time..

“Club room superb.”

Booked club room two weeks before we arrived, got good deal. Well worth the money. Giant king bed, sofa, romantic lighting, power shower, large tub bath (only took 10 minutes to run & very hot water - contrary to other reviews). Pool, sauna & gym OK to chill for an hour. Asked taxi driver to show us good nightlife in town, he was very helpful. Went to "Rama Tia" restaurant (beautiful) then live band in pub (great fun). next night superb Itilian "The Italian". Town is lively and hotel nice and quiet, so best of both eh.

Area recommendations

Dundee centre - Look for " Rama Tia" restaurant, "The Itilian" restaurant and The Bond pub - live music all weekend. All at centre front.

Rama Tia & The Italian are both excellent restaurants.

“reasonably priced and”

Nice breakfast and bar area, about 3 to 4 miles to downtown, health club was good, the pool area is a little small(it is the UK), and scenic back area. Room was okay but nothing special; the bathroom was large(tub and shower) with modern fixtures, some furniture was dated. Staff was friendly and service acceptable. Near (quarter mile) walking and cycling paths and trails to other parts of town, but have to cross over main highway. All in all okay, would stay there again.

“Fermarsi a Dundee solamente per questo hotel ne vale la pena!”

Hotel molto bello, pulito, caratteristico e piacevole per passeggiate nella sua proprietà. La colazione è ottima, sia per quantità, per qualità, sia perchè è servita in veranda con vista sul giardino. Piscina interna stupenda, merita un tuffo.

Getting there

Nel nostro tom tom non c'era l'indirizzo di questo hotel. Indicare Swallow Hotel nei PDI vicino alla destinazione per capitarci davanti. C'è l'ha indicato un tipo gentilissimo dopo avergli suonato il campanello.

“Niet bijzonder......beetje zouteloos...”

Het hotel is absoluut anders dan de presentatie doet vermoeden! Het is een saai doorsnee gebouw met enigszins muf ruikende gangen. De kamer (adviezen op diverse sites gevolgd en een Club geboekt) zijn netjes en schoon maar klein. Geen ruimte voor koffers (dan maar op de grond) en geen kasten voor je spullen. Badkamer is oke, maar ook hier weinig ruimte voor je spullen. Het personeel is vriendelijk en doet alles als je het vraagt. Maar je moet het wel vragen en dan nog kan het eindeloos duren voor eea gerealiseerd is...wel veel sorry's achteraf. Enkele pluspunten: De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding van dit hotel is goed. De locatie is ook prima als je de beschikking over een auto hebt. Advies: Neem een Clubkamer
