There were literally cigarette butts on the floor and used soap in the shower. By far the nastiest room I have ever been in. The comforters were dirty and torn. The woman at the front desk was seriously rude and argued with people. There are drug addicts everywhere. Nightmare!

Let's start with the good. The Receptionist was great and got me checked in very quickly (although I was asked for a $20 cash deposit, something I don't remember seeing anywhere when I booked this room). The bed was comfortable. That's about it for the good. Now the Bad. The word is "Filthy". The walls in the bathroom were filthy. The floor in the bathroom was filthy, with mildew where the bathtub and floor met. The legs on the ironing board were filthy (the ironing board didn't even have a pad on it, making it worthless). The vent in the bathroom didn't have a grill on it. Instead, the grill was sitting on a shelf below this gaping hole in the wall. The bathtub had large chips in it. The hair dryer was cracked and didn't look safe to use. The ceiling in the main room (yes, the ceiling) was stained and filthy. The secondary lock on the front door wouldn't work. But the worst was the linens. The comforter on the bed had very visible grey stains on it that looked like they wouldn't come out in the wash. Also, 2 of the towels I looked at had similar stains. I don't know why they wouldn't just throw these things out if they stains so bad that they wouldn't come out in the wash. I was so disgusted by the towels, the tub and the bathroom that I didn't even take a shower the next morning. Without a doubt, this was the single worst experience I've ever had in any budget hotel. I won't be back anytime soon.

There is mold on the ceilings, holes in the bathroom, paint chipping everywhere. Just not a good experience. Didnt sleepthewhole night do to not feeling safe. Was charged twice and not refunded my money-back and overall bad experience.

Was truly the worst red roof inn I ever stayed at. I knew from the get go it was going to be bad, behind reservations counter had like a mini mart,Expedia says 2 dogs max weight 80 lbs each. Clerk said weight was 30 lbs, ask for money back was told no, then had to pay a 20 dollar deposit for tv remote. went to room cigarette burn in the blanket over the sheets, no comforter , no dead bolt on door missing/broke off, in shower are ceiling light in shower gone or broke, moldy looking ceiling. Broke toilet seat patches on walls not repainted,walls on either side of heater/air bubbled and flacking off.only thing good at hotel was the girls cleaning doing the best that can for what they had to work with.

The price for this hotel was fair until . I walked in the room and seen that there is was no tv and they gave me a remote . I was disappointed all together wen I seen that bathroom looked horrible the floor had not been swept the tub looked like something out of a horror movie it had holes in the wall and the door and it had no type of soap in there to even wash my hands.

I seen bad places on my trips, motels 6 mostly but this, is a whole new level, you need to leave a cash deposit even if you don’t have cash and the atm in the lobby is not easily reachable after hours, Anderson SC is a nasty ugly place but the hotel, makes it even worse, bad smell, broken shower and mold, and bed bugs, I left after few hours; worse mistake ever, try something different for few bucks more, first time in an hotel of this chain, definitely last one too. If you have kids or pets, more reason to avoid this place.

Very filthy No well conditioned. I ordered a Deluxe (no smoking) room. Guess what happen when I enter to the room I was full of that discussing smell..

The place was nasty!! Blood and bodily fluids (yellow and crusty) on the comforter. Trash on the floor, and a dirty wash cloth hanging in the bathroom. It was so bad we didn't sleep and didn't stay the 2nd night. We lost money for not staying the 2nd night but it was worth it to just leave.

The place was absolutely disgusting. I don’t even think the room we had, had been cleaned in weeks. Stuff splattered on the walls. No phone. No remote. Tv screen was cracked. Mold. Paint peeling. It was the most disgusting place I have ever been. And I have been to some pretty terrible places. If your a family run far far away unless. You have no other choice.

This was a terrible motel and I left the site for my own security. I demand a full refund. On arrival I was not allowed to enter the lobby. The room was unsanitary, inclean, and in disrepair. I was accosted by several grifters - apparently other guests of the motel. They would not leave me and tried to follow me to my room. At one point the police arrived and shone a bright light into my room and others nearby. I did not feel safe and left the facility about 15 minutes after I arrived. This property is totally not within the quality or safety standards of Expedia and I demand a refund.

Remove from hotels.com website 😡😡😡
The Location is basically a homeless shelter, we charged 20.00 additional to use the remote for the tv. The room was filthy,no security lock on inside of room. We left the next morning 11-4-23 and did not receive a refund 😡😡😡😡😡😡😤😤😤😤😤💩

I checked into the Anderson location & due to the filthy unhealthy conditions, I was not able to put my head down! The board of health should be called and place should be closed down indefinitely!
