We were visiting relatives in Senigallia so we really weren’t tourists this time. We would recommend Hotel Universal. The staff was very helpful, nice location, good breakfast.

Beautiful place to stay in a beautiful town! We had the perfect view of the beach, the staff was always helpful, breakfast was delicious and we couldn't have been happier.

It was amazing, right across from the Mediterranean Sea. Beautiful views, close to food. An FYI for Americans, restaurants close in the early afternoon and re-open at 7 p.m.

The dining room overlooks the sea. The sunset over the ocean is fabulous.The shuttle to the airport was a godsend..

ups: everything. staff, breakfast, location, room cleanliness, room view, reasonable price down: train station is quite close so you can occasionally hear trains passing by. Nothing major, i certainly recommend this hotel

Beautiful hotel with balconies facing the beach and the town. The staff was incredibly helpful. We had a great time while there!

This hotel is very close to beach. Rooms and bathrooms a bit small, but very neat and clean having recently been refurbished. Very nice breakfast. Very helpful staff.

20 metres from the beach!
Overall our short stay was very good. The hotel has a very convenient location, car parking, and an excellent breakfast! The only minor downside is that, being winter, the air conditioning was not available and the room was too hot. Opening the window is not a real option as a major rail line runs parallel to the beach, just behind the hotel.

Relaxing and recharging
We enjoyed this hotel very much. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the spa is great. We had one of the best breakfasts I've seen in any hotel in Italy. They offer the free use bicycles to see the town, and even a bowl of apples in the lobby if you get a bit peckish! The beach is clean and well-maintained. Rooms are small, but newly renovated and very clean. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Great experience and incredible view
Our room was recently refurbished with modern deco. There is on site parking and restaurant. The inculded breakfast buffet is varied. The rooms look over the beach. Location is a bit far from town centre, which would require driving there (or using public transport?).

Nice hotel, great location, but hotel beach charges were far too high
Forthe 2nd year running we visited the Universal, this year in a better, recently refurbed room. Room was great, superb view of the sea although it was a little noisy (by the lift). The big downer was the charges for parasol and sun loungers on the hotel's section of the beach. We only used these for 6 days of our stay but it still cost us 138Euros. This is over the top, especially as the cost were explained at the start of the holiday incorrectly - we expected to pay 90Euros (this still is taking a liberty and over the top). It was a shame because our stay was nice but these charges took the shine off our visit
