"Great hotel !!"
We stayed at this hotel a few days a go and we really liked it. The food was good. The pool was clean.the staff were great. The room was clean.the shower is a bit small but still ok. The hotel is a 10 min walk to the bus stop, and the buses come every hour. The beach is a 20 min walk but at 10 in the morning the hotel owner takes you to the beach in a mini van for free and brings you back at 13:00.every morning at 9 ish there is a bus that comes to the hotel that goes to Rhodes and the old city. Every other time you have to walk to the bus stop. The hotel is a good relaxing trip. There are some bars in the town, you can phone the bar a some one can come pick you up and drive you to the bar and they also bring you back to the hotel.me and my girlfriend had a lovely stay at this hotel.

"Lovely family-run small hotel."
We had a wonderful time here. The owners are incredibly friendly without being overbearing. (Our children also fell in love with the dog.) The pools were great and there was never any problem getting a deck-chair! The food was delicious, authentic Greek cooked by the family who own the hotel. But there were also pizzas on the menu that suited the children. The accommodation was cleaned daily and we were surprised at how spacious it was. Having a fridge with an ice box was brilliant for freezing bottles of water! Filoxenia is definitely good value! We recommend it without reservation.

"Two go to Rhodes"
The public areas of the hotel are very clean and comfortable. The gardens are well tended. The pool is extremely clean and Kiri, the owner, sees that it is maintained properly. While we were there (9th to 16th July 2014) there were always plenty of comfortable loungers around the pool. The staff (Dana, Krystina and Joseph) cannot do enough for you and were very friendly. Our room was well decorated, adequately furnished and was cleaned every day. We like to wander around and find tavernas when we are on holiday but did eat in the hotel twice and the food was ok. Breakfast is good - plenty to choose from. We do like to walk when we are on holiday but the road outside the hotel was quite busy and as always in Greece, no pavements, so a little dangerous after dark (almost impossible to get taxis even though quite near the airport). However, taverna owners in Theologos (about 20 minute walk) were extremely kind and took us back to the hotel several times. There is a small beach about 8 minutes walk away but it is not the best as there is a lot of debris and it is pebbly. It is easy to get into Rhodes Town on the bus which runs every hour. We had a lovely holiday and met some interesting and friendly people from lots of different countries. Would recommend this hotel if you want a very relaxing time.

"hotel food great (greek ) village nice walk, clean."
A peaceful location but short pleasant walk to local shops tavernas gym.Beautifully clean large pool and loads of sunbeds also on grass area which was peaceful. Hotel food excellent ( not typically English but HEY YOU ARE in GREECE !).Staff very friendly and things on most nights at hotel ( karaoke, quiz ,bingo and a fantastic greek night of dancing and food ). I was a lone traveller in my fifties and the only drawback was that the hotel clients were keen to keep in their own little parties although I did make an effort but then felt as though i was intruding. However I had a friend at another hotel in Pastida and so it was not a problem. I would say that this hotel was clean great staff fantastic pool area, plenty to do with an on- site shop and Jackie opened it whenever it was requested ( imagine that in England!) Excellent bus connections to the beach,(20 mins ). Bus usually once an hour into Rhodes town( 40 mins ) which is a MUST for food, shopping the harbour and the old town. , If you a going solo then it may be that I just hit unlucky with the other holiday makers but then again if people are with their own family then who can blame them. The neighbouring hotel ( Mariettas ) where my friend stayed was a lot smaller with a very small pool area but EVERYONE talked to EVERYONE and the atmosphere was much more inclusive . Horse for courses.

"Good choice"
I stayed with my daughter in this hotel last week of May. Rhodos is wonderful,Lalyssos is very quiet not overcrowded like Faliraki, beach is just 3 min walk from hotel. Hotel is very clean, staff friendly and English speaking. There are sunbeds on the beach for 3 Eur for all day. The Rodhos Town is only 10km from the hotel you can take the bus for 1,80 Eur. Close to the hotel there is a small supermarket and restaurants. We tried food in Zorba`s restaurant- it was delicious. You can also make a day trip to another Greek island Symi and visit an old monastery a boat from the Rhodos Town harbour cost 23 Eur you start at 9.00a.m. and you are back at 17.00 in Rhodos Town.Greek are very friendly and generous people. Weather was fantastic. Last week I was in Mallorca and must say that Rhodos is cheaper.
