We stayed four nights at Hare Noi and it was wonderful. Even more so given the limited choices on Easter Island.
Nothing is cheap on the island, but at Hare Noi you get real value for money. The accommodation is spacious, scrupulously clean (as opposed to much of the rest of the island), and set in separate bungalows set into the hillside around a lovely pool.
The restaurant provides good and tasty food all day long, again setting a base standard above others.
We arranged our outing through the hotel and were escorted around the whole island, saw everything, carefully explained, and with scrumptious picnic lunches.
Whilst not cheap, (nothing is on the island), we definitely felt we received good value for money, right from the initial airport pickup to the final drop off.
We were collected from the airport and given an introductory tour of Hanga Roa. Maria Isabel was a wonderful host that even took my family with 3 children on an excursion when they arrived. The setting of the Hostal is beautiful, with a large lawn, and attractive trees including bananas and guavas The accommodation is spacious and comfortable with immaculately clean rooms and private bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious with local produce. Maria Isabel is a native and knows the history and local traditions which added to the magic of this beautiful island. She is always ready to advice. The Hostal is about 20-25 minutes walk from town and car rental was important to us; we rented it from Maria Isabel too at a competitive price. Transport back to the airport when departing was also provided.
"Very good view next to ocean, far from downtown."
Rating:3 stars. Rooms are small with tiles. Small bathroom. Can't order room service. Had to walk 20mins to nearest restaurant. Very helpful and very good english speaking receptionists. Good breakfast.

Very comfortable and friendly, peaceful atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and warm and friendly and made me feel very welcome. I was traveling alone and did feel like I had a home away from home in some way.
Staff are so friendly. We were met at the airport and received a flower garland as a welcome. I had a big birthday during our stay. I received a bunch of flowers with our breakfast, which was brought to our room at 8.30 am every morning and then received a bottle of wine presented in a woven basket with more beautiful flowers in the evening after our sightseeing tours! A wonderful birthday to remember.
Easter Island is an amazing place with lots to see and do. The people are friendly, and the history is fascinating. I took soooo many photo's!
Everything has to be imported to the island, so bring money!
Hotel Manavai was an excellent choice. It had great character & atmosphere; very tropical. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The location, too, was very central to the beach, the main street with restaurants and markets.

Hotel Rapa Nui offers just the sort of accommodations representative of the Island- - Personable staff, comfortable but not lush facilites, sustainable breakfast, car rental on site, luscious gardens and chickens and of course a welcoming moai! Price was just right, too.

Cabanas Moenga was beyond my imagination!! The stuff takes care of the guests like we are their personal guests. I did not join but the owner took other guests to a short trip introducing the area, and he also offered a fish BBQ a night to all the guests. His friends also joined and we had such an international social time. (Of course, if anyone did not want to join, it was totally fine not to do so). The owner was unbelievably caring, and when I missed the pick up for my pre-planned sightseeing tour, he called the agency and arranged a re-pick up for me. Moais, Birdman village, beaches, all the places and things I experienced was super there, and I am sure the stays with Moenga enhanced my experience in Rapa Nui in a very Rapa Nui way. Awesome!!
