We have been to many hotels in the area and for the great deal we got we where happy. Close walk to disney parking lot and road the shuttle bus from there for free, Staff was very friendly and house clean does a great job the room was perfect and brand new. Did not eat or drink inside hotel unable to rate that.
Great rooms great staff. Well set up for families. Close enough to walk to Disneyland but we used a shuttle $7 for the 7 of us including car seat for the baby. Guest laundry a bonus and little things like enough space for your shampoo in the shower made a difference. Our view over Disneyland and the fireworks was great. Really comfy beds!
It was a great experience. Everyone was very friendly & helpful. It was our first time staying here. And I would stay here again. I wish I could remember the front desk clerk's name he was so helpful & friendly and made everthing easy for us. We have stayed in or Hotels in the aera & Ayres had the best continential breakfast everything was so fresh. And was made at your request not just sitting out already made.
We have stayed at all 3 Disney hotels in Anaheim. For decades the Disneyland Hotel was the only Disney property, and we always enjoyed staying there. But over the years the place started to show its age. We then switched to the Grand Californian for our annual family visit, and it remains our favorite. We tried Paradise Pier last year and found it not up to Disney standards, although the price was reasonable. This year we went back to the (refurbished) Disneyland Hotel, and I must say overall it is back near the top. The rooms are spacious, with updated bathrooms and all the amenities, the service is top notch, and while we still love the architectural grandeur of the Grand Californian, we will probably return to the Disneyland Hotel next year because it is such a value. All of the "Cast Members" that work there are helpful, happy and willing to bend over backwards to make your stay memorable. Stay at the Disneyland Hotel, save a few bucks, and walk through the Grand Californian and admire the architecture.
