“very impressed”
although the hotel is a good ten minuite drive from amsterdam town it makes up for it in every other way.a very friendly very clean hotel, definatley going back.

Wasn't expensive. Stayed for one night. Needed better soundproofing from the road but not a big problem. Food expensive in the hotel I advise eating out
“Impressed”
A good hotel to stay in. Good service & clean rooms. There is a bit of walk from the metro station (approx. 10-15 mins). But these is a bus service runs every 10-15 mins. Overall 8/10.
“Weekend stopover”
Getting to the Hotel is easy but last Metro runs at 00:32 and as a late arrival check in was easy and friendly, Room was comfortable and clean, although lacks a kettle for a brew.

It's a nice hotel, just a bit far from the metro station. It is very good for tavelling with cars.

The staff were very helpful, providing maps of the city and tour advice as well as booking taxis when required. The rooms were clean but basic, and the house keepers came around everyday. One big let down was the rooms don't have fridges/mini bars or a safe. The restaurant and bar were large and modern, and prices were the same as in the city and not sky high like a lot of hotels. The hotel has a strict no smoking policy which isn't enforced at all and the smell of cannabis floats down the corridors, so one to avoid if you're not a fan. The hotel is about 5 or 6 miles away from the city but it was only a 15 min walk or two min bus ride to the metro station, then the metro took you straight into central station in the heart of the city. For €19 each we were able to get a travel card which allowed unlimited use of buses, night bus, trams and metro for 4 days. Alternatively, a taxi to/from central station was €30-35, and a taxi to/from Shipol Aiport was €58.
“Nice relaxing place to stay!”
I personally wanted to stay a little out of the city so I found this location ideal. It would have been even better if the hotel was closer to a metro station and not in such an isolated location with no restaurants around. It is a 15 minute walk to the metro station and around 20 minutes tube ride into the centre. The hotel restaurant food was of a good standard though rather expensive so best to eat out before returning to the Hotel. The staff were helpful, cheerful and friendly and the hotel room was really nice, clean and spacious. Only things missing were a kettle and hairdryer! Overal the hotel was a really relaxing place to stay especially in the garden overlooking the lake, a truly peaceful and calming environment. I would recommend this hotel for those who want to stay outside the centre and do not mind the walk to the metro station. The hotel was of a really high standard for such a reasonable price.
“miles from city centre”
tulip inn hotel was nice but to far from metro 15 min walk then 20 plus mins to amsterdam and the metro closed early and we had to get a cab back most nights which was 30 euros . 150 euros in taxi fares altogether . when you book a hotel in amsterdam you expect it to be in amsterdam not gasstraplas 9km away. that is like booking a hotel in london and ending up in lewisham
