Good location opposite train station

Pros: Really nice breakfast.
Cons: Room cleaning
Location: Opposite central station
When we checked out the receptionist charged us for crisps and sweets from the minibar despite being told that we did not take them. We did not make an inventory of the minibar on arrival but I would recommend this to avoid being charged for items that another guest enjoyed. I did not realise that I had been charged until later and so was not able to take the matter further at the time.

its ok but well over priced compared to other hotels I have stayed in Amsterdam. the location is good. when we arrived the safe was not working and call the front desk to send someone up to fix it, they said they would come straight away but took over an hour and had to call the front desk to make sure they were coming as we had a table booked for dinner. the room felt tired even though they look modern in the photos. the wifi is very slow as they obviously want you to upgrade to the fast connection package that you have to pay for. also the Airconditioning is rubbish and there is no bath!!

Pros: everything was 100% very pleased with hotel will be using again.
Cons: mre tea coffee and milk.
Location: right in centre train station across road trams and river boat outside hotel door
wonderfull hotel access to all transport with in a few mins walk hotel very clean staff very helpfull and polite always ready to help.

Good hotel for location to Central Station

Pleasant stay with good access to trams and canal tours. Central Station just across the road. The room was spacious, but decor looking a bit tired. Unfortunately there was a layer of dust on bedside tables and other surfaces. The towels were on the small side, thin and showing signs of wear. On the upside, there was a nice modern coffee machine and complimentary water on arrival.

Reasonable hotel, looking a bit tired inside

Pros: Good location. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: needs a refurb - carpets old, some of decor looking quite dated.
Location: close to most of the stuff you want to see in central amsterdam, very close to the station
Good central location, staff very helpful and friendly. Could do with a refurb on the access stairs / corridors - all looking a bit tired.

Pros: Convenient to the train station.
The new side of the hotel is very nice and updated. The older side which will be renovated soon they said is okay. My room was on the corner near the traffic and pedestrian crossing to the train station. Very noisy. Train noise and the chiming of the crosswalk light/and time left to cross the street. It's a convenient location.

Pros: The breakfast was outstanding. the staff always helpful,
Location: centrla to train station, boat trips, main touristy matters, eating choices and bus and tram network.
a week in a lovely environment, peacful yet central, a very well located site and a marvellous breakfast!
