Nice hotel, clean room and beautiful view. About a mile from city center but they have a shuttle every 30 minutes and tram stops right in front of hotel.

Location: Quiet location and amazing view
It is 15 minutes walk from city centre, but it is a very nice walk you get to see everything..

Top class hotel

My partner and i stayed here last week for 4 nights, we had the executive suite 19th floor magnificent views of the city and harbour. It was my partners 40th birthday when we had returned from sightseeing to the hotel room, there was a birthday card and a movenpick bar of chocolate from the hotel, I thought this was the most touching thing to do. I would definitely recommend the movenpick hotel for anybody staying in Amsterdam.

Very nice Hotel. About 10 minute walk from station

This is an excellent hotel. Quite awkward to find but worth it when there. About 10 minute walk from Amsterdam, but hiring a bike from the Hotel made the journey enjoyable and exciting, Well worth a visit.

Great Value and Location

Pros: The breakfast had a great tea; Ronnyfeldt which is hard to get in the states. The room overlooked the water which was nice.
Cons: Actually a non issue but the footstool was too heavy to move but no big deal.
Location: With only being 10 minutes from central station, just about everything is near by!
Great hotel! Location is walking distance from central station but the #26 tram is across the main thoroughfare. Breakfast has wide selection of choices. Room is quiet, clean, w/comfortable bed. With executive level the in-room bar has a complimentary beer and soda, robes, slippers and internet. The staff are beyond wonderful, I cracked a front crown during the stay and was able to get directions to an apothetek that helped me with dental filler.

Great hotel. Ridiculous shuttle service.

Pros: The room. The staff.
Cons: Shuttle service. A drop off closer to the station doors is essential.
Location: everything! It's quite central.
We really enjoyed our short stay in the hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff were excellent - friendly and helpful. The location is really good. It is quite central (10 minute walk to Centraal Station), but on the river so it was quite quiet. The only reservation of this hotel was the shuttle bus to the train station. Expedia does not explicitly state that it stops running at 19.30 and so we endued up taking a taxi. On the return to the station the shuttle bus dropped us off, not in front of the station, but in front of Doubletree Hotel - a good 5-7 minute walk (with somewhat heavy bags) from the station. In the end it was no real assistance to getting to the station at all and with the time needed to return to the hotel and wait for the bus it would have been quicker and no more difficult to just walk or call a taxi (and be dropped off much closer to the station itself).

Location: 10 minute walk from Grand Central station in City centre and accessible from Tram.
Brief experience we stayed for one night. Adequate hotel in the city Centre.

Wonderful

We stayed in one if the executive rooms. It was extremely comfortable and modern and clean. The executive lounge was a lovely touch with complimentary drinks and snacks in the early evening. Well located, 5 min walk to station. We used the hotel gym it is more than adequate , two cross trainers, running machine, dumbells. 3 kg to 10kg and a techno gym. Sauna.
