“excellent location, value for money”
Visited for Xmas 2011, 5 nights. A 3.5 star hotel within an easy walk to Central station. Tram stop right outside. Decent breakfast for reasonable price. Beds were comfortable, clean. I felt front desk was a bit understaffed. Internet was iffy, but normal for hotels in general. Would use again next time, because of great location.
“Good value basic hotel in Dubai”
This hotel is great for travellers on a budget who want to visit Dubai. It is located close to some of the main attractions south of the main city, and is also close to the metro and within a safe precinct. We were able to freshen up as we arrived at 6am and left our luggage securely with concierge. Upon checking in though we were only provided with one towel, and when our room was refreshed they still only gave us one towel? We also had a few issues with the shower, but the maintenance team were quickly able to reolve this for us. The shower was also inconsistent temperatures, really hot then really cold, however this was managable. Contrary to other reports, the included breakfast was actually really good (basic, but good) and the facilites provided were great and expected for a three star hotel.
“Plesantly suprised”
Great hotel, fantastic price and amazing location
“good place to stay”
Nice clean hotel close to city centre and station. Is go back
“expensive but convenient”
very close to central station and in heart of shopping area with plenty of restaurants and bars around. Room rather small with no drawers and limited wardrobe space. Good, included internet access. Friendly and helpful concierge and reception staff. Nice sitting area with log fire. Breakfast not included and very expensive at 15€. To get to my room on 4th floor I had to take lift to 2nd floor then cross internally over the street to another lift to the 4th floor. Strange decor - hallway carpets printed to look like a brick street complete with drains and manhole covers; large photos of random people on walls of halls and bedrooms - all this made it feel very corporate.
“Will definitely stay here again!”
I have now visited Amsterdam on several occassions and this is by far the nicest hotel that I have stayed in - it was a wee bit more than what I had previously paid per night but I actually got a LOT more for my Euros in terms of Service, Facilities, Location and general helpfullness of Staff. The room that I stayed in was spacious enough for a Large double bed + 1 single as well as a table and four chairs! The Bathroom was very clean and modern, as was the rest of my room. The room included complimentary Tea/coffee etc, but also had a minibar and basket of goodies that weren't overpriced. Hotel lobby has free wifi & computer access so 'Checking in' online was a doddle.
“one of the best hotel in dam square”
good location, great staff , room is clean and comfort , the only bad thing is some of the rooms you have to use two different elevator to reach them ( you have tho change elevator ).
“Will stay here again”
Although we arrived at the hotel early, 11am, our room was available and so we were allowed to check in without any extra charge. The decor in the room (and the hotel) was very modern and pleasing on the eye. Everywhere was clean and the bed was comfortable although a little warm with a very thick duvet on it. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely stay here again.
“Great Hotel - highly recommended”
Hotels can be tricky in Amsterdam, and I've stayed in some stinkers. Luckily on my most recent trip I stayed at the Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Centre and it was a quality hotel that is near everything, including the train station and the nightlight. A ten minute walk and you are at the Anne Frank House and the Jordann neighborhoods. A 15 - 20 minute walk and you are at the Van Gogh and other great museums. The rooms are modern, the staff friendly (and they speak great English). The option breakfast is worth it, with eggs, bacon, yummy breads and pastries as well as good cheese and other items. The food manager does a great job at this hotel. You'll find overall service in Amsterdam to be a tad lacking from what we are used to here in the US, however this hotel provides great service. I'll be booking this hotel again in the future.
“Brilliant!”
Myself and my friend have just returned from a 2 day short break in Amsterdam and I am so thankful we chose the Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Centre! The hotel was ideally located, five minutes walk from Central Station and was easy to find with the directions provided by the hotel. Very close to all the action Amsterdam provides but located in a quieter area. The hotel staff were friendly and eager to please, the room itself was not the largest I';ve stayed in but was ultra clean and very comfortable - more than ideal for a short break. Would recommend this hotel to others and will definitely stay here again should I visit Amsterdam.
