Great location! However, the wifi was unusable in the bedroom and lobby. Also, there was a leak in our bathroom sink, which meant that our bathroom floor was wet and cold during our entire stay. Other than that, the location made up for the terrible amenities.

Carpet very worn out, dirty faucets in bathrooms. Over all, the hotel is dirty, worn out & out dated. Eateries below very noisy, people yelling & loud music all night long. People smoking by the front door. People talking loudly in the hall way & slamming doors all night long. Not very enjoyable stay. Front desk staffs are friendly & helpful. I will not stay there again.

My initial room was great, but it turned out that the afternoon after I checked in I returned there and my key no longer worked. I had apparently been given the wrong room the previous evening and had to pack up and relocate two floors up where the room was not as pleasant and had a faint offensive odour.

Its ok for few days
The hotel is only good for a few days, I would say that it needs to have air conditioning and a microwave, give more than one room key to the Customers since not everyone stays at the hotel.

Tired hotel on noisy square
Staff are lovely and helpful. Our room, 9, was right above the square which is busy day and night, our broken window catch meant we could not close it properly. The room and furniture is old and worn as is the bathroom with rust around the mirror etc and a sink too small to use.

We had a great stay and a wonderful upgrade. They carried our bags to our room for us as the stairs were alot! Great location, lots to walk to, transit right across the street. Only downside was its busy outside untill 3 am almost every night and hard to sleep with the windows closed with no ac.

Great location, basic hotel.
Great location, friendly staff, very helpful. If you have a large suitcase be mindful there's no lift and the stairs are steep.

Not the best but works
The place is nicely located. You have many places around the hotel to eat or hang out, and a few shops. If you can't deal well with the noise, you should ask for a room located not in the front flank of the hotel. The rooms are so-so. The beds were not too bad. The staff was nice. We had a situation with the couple staying next door and they were been extremely noisy.

The room was very small, but it was all I needed. It was clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom and shared shower were just outside my bedroom which was very convenient. My only complaint is that the light in the bathroom was motion activated and frequently shut off while I was in there. You had to wave your arm to make the light come back on.

My recent stay at Hotel Atlanta revealed both positives and negatives. It's a budget-friendly option, well-suited for affordable travelers. The superb location appeals to both party-goers and city explorers. Noise levels vary due to the vibrant surroundings, suggesting light sleepers might need a sleep mask with white noise. The €10 buffet breakfast offers a quick variety including toast, waffles, yogurt, croissants, eggs, local cheeses, and meats. Staff, especially Mido, excel in hospitality. Mido's support with personal issues was appreciated. The family-run aspect adds warmth. Bathrooms are renovated, offering modern comfort. Yet, drawbacks exist. Rooms lack soundproofing, problematic for light sleepers. Dated decor might not suit all. Strict visitor policies inconvenience unconventional plans. No elevators, steep stairs are hard for mobility-impaired. No AC could trouble in summer, needing a breezy window. Hotel Atlanta's budget appeal, location, and staff charm stand out. Yet, consider noise, dated decor, visitor rules, stairs, and AC absence before booking.

Authentic Dutch hotel was a great experience! Located in a square with lots of bars, restaurants and nightlife and walks straight onto the main drag. Supermarket just across from the hotel. Take your pick of activity and you’re in for a great time. The stairs were steep and the room a little wonky but it made for a really fun experience. I’d much rather stay in a place like this than a fancy hotel.

Room was on the 4th floor with no elevator and very dangerous stairs to get there. No bathroom or toilet in the room. Breakfast was very limited. Not good value.

I had to change rooms and the staff were amazing and moved my luggage for me while I was out exploring Amsterdam early in the morning. Very friendly and a beautiful hotel in a great area. I highly recommend this amazing accommodation.

Fantastic location! Everything you need and want at your doorstep! Staff were soo friendly and welcoming. And considering we had to share toilets and shower with the whole floor, never had to wait and it was always fresh and clean! The only negative I would say it that even with the fan on in the room and window open, the room was like a Sauna.

Very friendly and well located good for walking around BUT so noisy at night which detracted a bit from the overall experience. Hotel typically Dutch with extremely steep stairs and no lift! Staff excellent very friendly and helpful. Tram stops right outside the hotel, very convenient. Decent buffet breakfast too. Would recommend this hotel but take ear plugs for nighttime

Central location
Very plesant staff. Great location, walking distance from all major sights. Steep stairs throughout so not suitable for anybody with mobility issues. We had a large comfortable room to the back so not interrupted by noise from the square

the hosts were very kind and accommodating. The hotel room and shower are small, but everything was decently clean. The hotel is in a great spot with lots of places to eat and close to a bike rental and bus station. Very easy to get around from here.

Cozy, convenient dowtown hotel
Thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Hotel Atlanta. Room was spacious, clean and tidy. Service was outstanding, including carrying luggage to and from the room, on two flights of 45 degree Dutch stairs. Optional breakfast was wonderful, almost a full breakfast rather than continental. The location was great, our room overlooking Rembrandt square. Great for people watching, though noisy at night.

We stayed at Hotel Atlantic in April 2023. This was the second time we stayed at this hotel.. We were here 5 years ago and enjoyed the hotel and being on Rembrandt Square. The hotel has steep stairs which we were able to navigate ok. We had a quiet inside room, which we enjoyed. Last time we had a view of the square which was noisy at night. The tram to Central Station is in front of the hotel. The hotel is in the historic district close to sights. We were able to walk to most historic sights. Many restaurants close by hotel. Amsterdam is a very nice city to visit.

Our room, and the hotel in general were always kept clean. It's in a convenient location on Rembrandt Square with easy access to the tram. The staff was also very helpful and friendly and they gave us a room with a view of the square. However, if we were to return to Amsterdam, we would choose a different location. Our room was tiny, very cramped for two people. It was also on the second floor right above bars and restaurants on the front of the building. That meant loud music and partying well past midnight every night, which made it difficult for us to sleep. We don't regret our choice, as the people and cleanliness were very pleasant. But knowing what we know now, we would choose a different hotel.
