“Good bargain for an airport hotel”

I've been in Schipol before and I've tried other hotels in the area, this is among the few really in the airport complex (just a couple of minutes walk). High standards, good quality clean rooms and a good bargain for the price you pay. You must consider that usually the hotels located inside an airport are more expensive than all the others just outside. This is honestly priced in my opinion. Fine restaurant and good service. Recommended if you need to stay in Schipol.

“Convinient when CitizenM is fully booked”

As stated below, using this hotel primarily when CitizenM is fully booked, though this hotel is better for older biz travelers that would find CitizenM too funky or uncomfortable for their taste.

“You must stay here”

What a wonderful welcome we got when we checked in! At the front desk, Linda was a breath of fresh air , considering we were very tired & wary from travelling. She went upbove & beyond our expectations & really set the tone for our stay. Our room was spacious, clean & was very relaxing. I would recommend this hotel to others & next time I travel will be keen to look into the Hilton hotels for future accomodation. Location was great so we didn't have to worry about transport to the airport , was just a brief walk on the travelators. Thanks soo much for the great stay.

Area recommendations

The public transport to Amsterdam from the airport & back are soo good that you can easily stay at the airport & train into town - which I found was over populated with tourists anyways.

“reminder to self: DON'T stay in Hilton airport hotels”

What a Dreadful hotel. I know I shouldnt stay in Hilton airport hotels - I've never had a good experience. This one tops the Hilton at Melbounre airport - its even worse. I had specifically booked a nonsmoking room. When I arrived they'd already given it away. I asked for compensation and was offered a free breakfast - I told them I was checking out at 4.30! They said that was all they could do. The whole floor stank of stale cigarettes. The room was even worse. I saved exactly $20 over the Sheraton - which is more convenient to the airport. Never again! From now on ANYTHING BUT Hilton at airports. The gold card means NOTHING. It seems as if they have learned absolutely nothing from the "Yours is a Very Bad Hotel" viral that did the rounds years ago. Amsterdam Schipol Hilton is still a very bad hotel.

Nothing - it's near Schipol airport, but not as convenient as the Sheraton

“Great Airport Location”

Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schipol was perfect for us as we were flying on an early flight. Very convenient as there is a shuttle at the airport but it is also close enough to walk if you don`t have too much luggage. The rooms are on the small side but if you are only staying overnight they are great. Staff was very friendly and the room adn hotel is spotless but I would suggest that you insist on having breakfast included in the price as breakfast at this hotel is rather expensive.

“Good location to catch early flight out of Amsterdam”

The hotel was just a few minutes from the airport. It was clean and well maintained and was a perfect location to catch an early flight out of Amsterdam.

“Ideal overnight stay location”

This hotel is ideally located, quiet and has a free shuttle to/from the airport which is only a short walking distance away for those without cases. Whilst the room was not spacious, it was adequate and all facilities suitable. Staff were very polite and most helpful. The free business centre computer access is a plus for online check-ins etc. We had an included buffet breakfast and this was very extensive with a large variety. Overall, we believe our choice of hotel, was ideal.

“Good place to stay near Amsterdam airport”

Although this hotel is a fair walk from the airport, there is frequent shuttle service for those who need it. We were pleased that we were allowed to check in early, and that we got a cot for our granddaughter without any problem. We got the executive suite, and it was worth the extra money. We had access to the executive lounge and one hour of free wireless per day. Also, breakfast was included with our room. The staff was extremely helpful. We decided that we didn't want our room cleaned (we stayed two nights), so we put out a Do Not Disturb sign. The staff were worried that we hadn't removed the sign during the day, so they checked the room (and left us a note) to make sure we were OK. You can't ask for better attention than that.

Area recommendations

Since this is an airport hotel, the neighborhood is the airport. Because the train station is in the airport, you can easily get to any town you want to visit. I recommend all of the Netherlands. It is a beautiful country.
