“Year on Year never fails!”
We have been coming to this hotel for ages and it is lovely! The staff are friendly and professional. I complained this time that the room was really noisy as it was located at the front of the hotel. They apologised immediately and updated my profile for future visits so that I get a quiet room. Excellent location and very modern room.
“Great Location, Comfy bed/bedding, nice contemporary feel”
Our group of 4 booked 2 executive rooms for a 6 night stay in Amsterdam. Upon check-in we were pleasantly surprised to learn that we had been upgraded to junior suites. Positives: - great location in Amsterdam - rooms were very spacious with many windows - showers had great water pressure and hot water - very comfortable bed/bedding - steam removal on bathroom mirror and heated bathroom floor were nice luxuries Negatives: - The heat went out in one of our rooms and took 2 days to be fixed, a small space heater was offered for in the meantime - small furniture despite large room size, a lot of wasted space - no wireless internet in rooms, only wired
“not a 4 star hotel”
as stated on other travel review sites the hotel was ok but the carpet was stained in many places making you wonder if it was clean. Another guest also said their room carpet was stained. The internet was not functioning 50% of the time. When I was the front desk to look into the internet problem he said that I could call the company myself. If you room faces the street with the tram, the room is very noisy. This is not a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was ok, the staff were generally friendly. It was not stated anywhere that the Eden Rembrandt Square (4star) is connected to the lobby of the Eden Hotel (a 3 star) by 20 feet. I suspect that both hotels are both 3 stars.
“Beautiful hotel in a very central location with wonderful restaurant and piano bar”
This is a very modern and beautifully decorated hotel. Its location is great for Rembrandt Sq which has lots of bars/restaurants and shopping is 5 minutes away. Very close to everything, including trams which pass in front of Hotel. Be warned.......,ask for a quiet room as ones on Amstelstrat have "paper" outer walls and its extremely noisy and night life goes on till 4am at weekends. Trams stop at 11pm and start again at 6am. We had to change rooms after no sleep on first night but there was no problem and we ended up with a huge and much better one for rest of stay. Staff were very helpful too
“Fantastic Location”
This hotel was less than a block from Rembrandt Square. It is in a fantastic central location in the city which makes walking to museums and other parts of the city a breeze. The hotel was fairly clean. I did notice some mold and mildew in the shower. There were also some scuffs and pen marks on the wall of our room. If you want to stay in a central location, this is a fantastic hotel.
“everything is perfect except the food, eat outside”
everything is perfect except the food, eat outside the best rooms are the apartments outside the hotel itself the eden resorts great , hugh apartment
“Great location, but probably will not go back!”
Hotel has a great location, however the room had weird stains on the floor, gave an unclean feeling during the stay! bed was broken, and needed replacment (that was taken care of). Great Piano Bar called Sopranos accessible from the lobby..
“Great location, lovely hotel, would go back.....”
but we would ask for a room that didn't face the busy street. Great location in terms of Amsterdam centre, easy to find from the tram. Nice modern hotel with a very clean feel, but we were woken up a number of times throughout the night with speeding cars and garbage trucks that sounded as though they were coming throug the window. That said it was a great place, just make sure you request a room not facing the main street.
“small beds but ok”
reasonable hotel-not 4 star by any means. single rooms very small with beds to suit small people.
“Amsterdam's Best Hotel”
My son and 3 friends recently spent 4 days at this hotel and I cannot recommend the Eden Rembrandt highly enough, in every aspect this hotel provides fabulous accommodation but it goes even further because the hotel receptionists & staff are so thoughtful, friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. Great location and wonderful customer service - a real gem. 10/10

Canal Ring, Amsterdam, Netherlands: The classic Amsterdam image of stately canals, the Canal Loop is principally the Herengracht and Keizersgracht, lined with gracious tall 17th and 18th-century houses. Some of these are now museums, most notably the eccentric Kattenkabinet. The Amstel is a more down-to-earth waterway, lined with houseboats and famous for its classic muchphotographed Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge). The floating Flower Market is also a much-loved canal feature.
