Morgenmad og placering

Posted 25-Jul-2015
Der var ikke morgenmad med i prisen, og et lille ekstra beløb, som I nævnte i beskrivelsen af hotellet, det var faktisk lidt dyrt. Men hotellets placering i forhold centrum det var bare rigtig godt.

Good location but only decent hotel

Posted 17-Jul-2015
This hotel is very centrally located however there is a club across the street that had people in it until 4:00 am most nights being very loud. The front desk staff were not very helpful when it came to requests (we asked for a new pillow and it never came/no help with tours or directions). The bed is very comfy and soft but the cleaning staff was lazy and never changed the towels even though we indicated so. They also left the glasses we had used from the first night all through our stay. Overall not a fantastic experience but not a terrible one either.

Nice hotel, convenient location

Posted 16-Jul-2015
Pros: Friendly and accommodating staff, location, modern building
Cons: Bathroom - needs more privacy, housekeeping needs to change sheets more often
Location: Rembrandt Square
Overall we were very happy with this hotel. Check-in was easy, and all of the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was quite convenient, with everything you need just outside your doors. There were plenty of restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, snack and gift shops practically right outside your door. Rembrandt Square is really nice, and there is a tram station close by - but we never used it. From this location you can get to pretty much any of the popular tourist locations in about 15-20 minutes by foot. My only gripe with this hotel is the bathrooms in their regular rooms. I had read about this online from other reviews but didn't realize how much of an issue it would be. The pictures of the bathrooms look really cool with the glass doors, but they do nothing to isolate the toilet from the rest of the unit. If someone is in the bathroom, they might as well not even close the doors because it feels like you're right there with them - which can get a little uncomfortable for everyone in the room. When some of our lights burnt out, they couldn't get them fixed that night and offered to upgrade us to an executive room which we gladly accepted. The executive room was about twice the size of our regular room, with a much nicer bathroom that had it's own private toilet room. If we stay here again, we'll opt for the executive room over the regular one.

Lovely Hotel close to bars and restaurants

Posted 12-Jul-2015
Pros: The staff were really friendly and the rooms were really clean and comfortable
Cons: The only negative was a stain on the carpet outside the lift on 4th floor
Location: The location was really good close to Rembrandt Square with lots of restaurants and bars, the opera house is also very close
The Hotel staff where very welcoming and always available if needed, although it was just a basic room it was perfectly clean, The beds were really comfortable and Inwould be very happy to stay there again. Although we didn't use the restaurant it did look very nice and will try it next time. Did enjoy a drink in the bar and that was good so overall it was a great break

Great location, basic but good hotel

Staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Great location, basic but good room. Only thing that could have been improved was the house keeping service but it was still clean.

Ideal spot for all the Amsterdam sights

Posted 23-Jun-2015
Pros: Staff were friendly. We arrived earlier than check-in and and no problem (and no charge) to leave bags with Concierge. Same on the day we left too.
Cons: All the dealings we had with hotel were good.
Location: Although they hire bikes from the hotel, we had an excellent service from the Green Bikes outside (canalside). Ideal location for all tourist spots.
Good location for hotel, just off Rembrandt Square and close to either No 4 or No 9 tram from Centraal Station. Lots of nice eateries around the square too. Hotel room was spacious and clean with excellent bathroom facilities.

Location, Location, Rembrandt Square!

Posted 19-Jun-2015
Pros: The room confort and of course the location.
Cons: Hallway carpets could be modernized a bit.
Location: Entrance to hotel from either beautiful Amstel canal on one side or Amsteraat on other. Rembrandt Plaza, Tram stop, pubs, restaurants only steps away.
Very nice, comfortable hotel. The bathroom shower, tub, etc very modern, clean and confortable. What really will make me come back, in addition to the upscale room quality is the location. Within the canal ring area of Amsterdam, but a bit (only one Tram stop away) from the core center where the city could be overwhelmed by tourists. The tram stop is one block from Hotel and so is Rembrandt Plaza. This is a beautiful plaza, always busy with youth, old, tourists and locals alike and surrounded by nice restaurants, cafes, pubs etc.
