“Would definately recommend”

A little bit out the way of main town (approx 15 minutes on the bus), and nothing at all to do in the hotel vacinity, but the hotel itself I cannot fault, staff were helpful and polite, room was of a very high standard and cleaned daily. The short bus journey was well worth it when you look at the state of some of the hotels in the centre, and the bus stop is literally a one minute walk from the hotel.

“Completely worth the tram ride”

Though this hotel wasn't in city center, it was amazing. It only took ten minutes by tram to get to all the attractions. It was clean, the people were friendly, it was QUIET, and the surrounding neighborhood was immaculate and felt very safe. I would absolutely stay there again, no question!

“Good Hotel”

For being 4 stars, you get some bang for the buck because teh price is cheap. The art on the walls sucks (I think), but who cares. Good hotel.

“Well served”

Well, this was only a 4 day visit, and we wanted a hotel with suitable price, and Artemis DD covered it. Nice clean hotel, the only cons is it's not at the central. But for its price it worths it. Also there was a receptionist whose name was Alex. He was the best receptionist ever. He answered all of our geek questions. He was like a search engine's human form. He knew everything you can imagine and ask. He made the stay even better.

“EXPERIENCE at the ARTEMIS in AMSTERDAM”

Excellent value for the Money. All excellent; except Front Desk speed when registering; they need one more front desk person. However, during this waiting time, the ready-to-help-serve attitude of Bellboys was Excellent. Arranged with them, my transportation to airport next morning. The fact that you need to take the "Tram" (Number 2) to get to down-town, a 20 min distracting trip, is not a problem. Public transport is very good. You would never get a hotel of that class, for that money, in the City centre (down-town. GH

“Out of the way but worth it”

Easy to get to from the central train station if you can figure out the tram lines. The people at the tourist info office at the train station can give you good directions using the tram. You should eat in the city and only goto the hotel at night because nothing at all is within walking distance. Free Wi-Fi was a real treat by Europe standards, room was of modern design and very nice. Watch out for the 3 euro city tax charge they hit you with when you check out.

“Nice Ambience”

Took a bus directly from the airport to a stop just 3 minutes from the hotel. Check in and out was easy. The art displayed in the lobby and throughout the hotel was very unique. We just walked a block or two down the street to catch the tram that accessed all areas of the downtown core. Public transport was great and the surrounding area was very clean and felt safe.
