Nice theme, need better execution

Posted 05-Aug-2014
Pros: I would recommend trying out the breakfast for at least 1 morning. Most of the food are of good quality you won't regret it.
Cons: Most front desk staff are nice, but the ones working night shifts are not as experienced to handle requests professionally.
Location: Tram stop right at door takes u to Central Station and Canal Ring

A bit far from the centre, but very cosy.

Had a bit of a nightmare getting there, trams weren't running when we arrived so had a long walk from centraal station! But a very nice hotel. We were in tower B which is a bit of a trek from reception. Decent size room, comfy bed, very clean. Friendly staff. No kettle though! Expensive breakfast.

Perfect hotel for visit Amsterdam

Posted 20-Jul-2014
Pros: Easy to get there by car, nice people, reasonable price, own parking
Cons: The mirror lighting in the bathroom - impossible to do your make up
Location: Visit "Anne Frankhuis" is a must; very impressed. Order tickets online!
Very nice hotel near Vondelpark. Easy to take the tram to the Dam and other highlights, but we liked the 30 minute walk. We stayed in this hotel with kids and that worked out great. For breakfast/lunch we went to "Toasty" (2 minute walk), and "Bagels & Beans" (5 minute walk).

Good Location & Friendly Staff

Posted 15-Jul-2014
The hotel is easy to get to from the airport and the tram stop is right outside. Its in a nice area with cafes and bars near by and close to the city centre as it takes about 10 to 15 minutes on the number 1 tram. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel bar was a nice place to have a drink. The room was nice with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom it would have been handy to have a dressing table/desk with mirror.

Nice hotel

Stayed here for one night. The staff were helpful and the room was neat and tidy. Breakfast in the morning was of the continental variety with tea and coffee etc. The hotel is close to Vondelpark and I would stay here again.

Peaceful but easily accessible to the action

Posted 01-Jul-2014
Pros: The bed!
Cons: Bigger TV but you go to Amsterdam not to be in front of the TV so no big deal.
Location: The tram line 1 was outside the door and that took you to many places.
I intended to stay at the sister hotel at museum square but am so glad I didn't! The hotel was immediately off the Tram line 1 which made it super easy to get to/from the airport and around town. The hotel room was tastefully done in a minimal fashion but holy cow, the bed was amazing! And this was for a regular room, not the premium! Good space, great comfort. We loved our stay!

Would stay at the hotel again.

Pros: Hotel staff multilingual. Staff was always helpful and 'went the extra mile' to accommodate all requests.
Cons: I found the breakfast overpriced, so ate elsewhere.
Location: Main tram line, #1, stopped right in front of the hotel, so easy to get to many must sees. Fewer tourists than other locations.
Wonderful to stay in a hotel that supports the environment. Found the staff very helpful. The bathtub was awesomely huge. Very close to Vondelpark, which we walked across to get to the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum. Park itself great place to people watch. We like to walk so were able to walk to the National Monument, a central area for many tourist sites. However, for those who do not like a 2-3 mile walk, the tram #1 stops right in front of the hotel, so it it easy to get to Central Station and the main part of town. Loved the witty notes on the room door and scattered on the walls of the room, which explained the environmentall friendliness of the room while making me smile.

Modem hotel right by Vondelpark

Posted 19-May-2014
Brill hotel... You can rent bicycles directly from the hotel and Vondelpark is right next door to cycle round. The tram stop is right outside which is only 10-15mins to get to the city centre. Staff are chilled out and the rooms are spot on.

Nice but small

Posted 15-May-2014
Not centrally located. Need to take the tram or bus to go downtown (about a 10 minutes ride). Breakfast in the morning was very good and offered lots of selection. Room was tight...no place to leave our 2 medium size luggages. No minibar or fridge to keep water cold. Showers in both rooms, but no shower curtains...so we ended up with water all over the bathroom floor and needed to dry it with our towels.
