“Would i stay again...... yes!”
I think thats the best way to recommend to others the true rating of the hotel. Now the fine tuning. Hotel is located within a gentle stroll to Train Station and 10 mins stroll from town centre Marienplatz... so location is great. A little cafe across the road Cafe Kosmos only makes better. Hotel room was great except no bowls in the kitchenette but other than that great. Bathroom a tad small but nothing to stress over. The internal hallways and lift are dated and worn but that is neither here or there in my eyes. Service was exceptional ..... the front desk and house keeping were great. My only gripe and it needs to be fixed, or it would change my decision next time, is the internet, flakey and inconsistent and in one instance i had to sit in hallway for thirty minute skype conversation to ensure quality which was even then inconsistent. The net is an essential in any hotel today and quality is a must. Other than that you will love Munich and the hotel is great.
“Great hotel”
This hotel is beautiful, clean, and the breakfast and diner buffet is great. It is in a good location near the city center shopping area and close to all travel agencies where someone can easily book a tour and get pickup at the hotel. I truly recommend this hotel for the price and location, and all its amenities.
“Solid Option in Amman”
I was very pleased with the Toledo, especially its location and staff. It was a very short walk to a shopping area and other sights. The hotel staff made an excellent recommendation for a driver/guide to see the Christian sites of Bethany beyond the Jordan (John the Baptist) and Madaba, as well as Mt. Nebo. Room was simple but clean and the breakfast buffet was good.
“Nice Clean Hotel”
Very nice hotel, staff was wonderful and helpful upgraded me to a suite once they found out my flight was cancelled and I was just staying for the night. Hotel resturant was great to get a quick bite to eat and the wait staff was very helpful and friendly. Will go back again when back in Jordan.
“Great location, good average hotel.”
Great location, good average hotel. Fabulous breakfast with lots of choice. Good value for money. Would use it again.
“Better hotels out there for same price”
Decent hotel but undergoing extensive renovation. Nicer hotels with more convient locations available for the same price.
“Not awful, but there are equivalent options for less than half the price”
The Toledo Hotel has lovely tiling in the restaurant and lobby with Arabian lamps which give it an exotic feel. The rooms are plain and the food even more plain. Do not order the black forest cake. It is not even close to black forest cake and was inedible. They have a bazaar or market on weekends across the street on the side of the hotel we were on, so you won't be able to sleep through the clatter during set up late at night or the bustle early in the morning. My husband and I found out later we'd paid too much (American prices) per night which our taxi driver told us was a rip off for a 3-star hotel. He then proceeded to list the many 3-star options at one-third and half the rate, some of which had been listed on Expedia but I had ignored thinking if the price were that low the hotel would be a flea bag. Also, after splurging by staying at Petra's Marriott Hotel when in Petra, The Toledo in Amman was a huge step down. However, the service was lovely, and Tariq, our room attendant, was incredibly sweet and attentive. The front desk people were very polite and service-oriented, too.
“The hotel is in old city, area smells”
Hotel is in old city, the entire area smells, you cn not keep your window open. SPA, Gym and swimming pool (in door - pond) is badly managed. There is nothing interesting near by except local shops.
“Fair hotel near to the old town of Amman”
The Toledo is a fair accomodation when you compare price/quality. The staff is friendly and willing to help out. The location is near to the old town of Amman and to one of the most famous mosques in Amman.
“移動拠点に便利な割と良いホテルです。”
ダウンタウンや郊外どこに行くにも、移動に便利なところにあるホテルです。適度の値段設定だと思います。 (近くにもいくつかのホテルがあり、他のホテルは滞在していない為、他との比較は出来ませんが、よいと思います。) 24時間サービスで、かつチェックイン後も荷物を預かってくれました。
