“Recommended to backpackers and budget travellers”

We have had a short stay in Palace Hotel in Nov. 6 and 7, 2011. In terms of comfort and cleanliness, I found this hotel in the low end... about 3/10. However, in terms of services and quality of staff, I am rating this hotel 8/10. Staff are very accomodating, polite and helpful, caring for the needs of their customers. Location is also excellent, having access to almost all a budget traveller may need - low cost dining, tourism attractions, ATM's/money changers, and everything -you- need shops. Overall I am giving Palace Hotel a 5/10 rating and recommending them to short stayers and budget travellers particularly those who are visiting Jordan for the first time.

“Fantastic value and great location”

Hotel is in an excellant location and offers great service in English. Shuttle service is available by the hotel at a moderate cost both to and from the airport. Tours to many areas in Jordon are readily available by the hotel with pick up and return to the hotel. Tours are very reasonably priced and the best value is when there are three people avilable to share. Hotel rates are very affordable and breakfast is included consisting of tea/coffee,eggs, pita bread,butter and jam. Jordan is a very safe and friendly country and hotel staff make everyone feel very welcome.

for the price, you don't expect much, but you will receive a rooom that is adequate and a nice breakfast.

“Definitely would go back, its safe, relatively clean, and the staff are so helpful”

I stayed in this hotel for approximately one week. The staff were very helpful and the hotel was very safe. The location was excellent. Its a bargain for the hotel. The only concern was that my washroom was not cleaned by the cleaning staff. Other than that though, I never felt unsafe and the staff were so helpful. I would recommend for anyone on a budget and who would rather spend hours experiencing the country rather than staying indoors in the hotel, this is a must go to hotel.

“Friendly but simple place”

The Palace Hotel is friendly, and they will help you with any day tours you might be interested in. It's a very basic place, though, and could be cleaner.

Dit is een typisch hotel voor low-budget. Badkamer was niet echt goed. Handdoeken waren heel klein. Maar als je dat voor lief neemt, was het een prima hotel.
